I spent a year and a half planning a wedding from across the country, and even though the one thing I wasn't able to snag was a trial appointment before the big day, she worked with me the day of and absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Even when I was just connecting online while exploring my vendor options, communications were prompt and extremely helpful. It was a no brainer to go with Studio One! Amanda arrived right on time, immediately worked out an impromptu schedule with my make-up artist for myself and my bridesmaids, and somehow managed to be cheerful, professional, and everything you could hope for.

She found herself a spot to set up in the venue accommodations, in a way that worked for her and the craziness around her, and immediately had everything under control in a way I could not be more grateful for. I handed her my photo inspiration, extensions and hair accessories, and she worked wonders. And not just for me, but for my four beloved bridesmaids! She listened intently to what each of my friends were asking for, made sure they were comfortable and happy with their results, and was a delight to work with!

Amanda brought some much needed laughter and peace of mind to one of the most hectic days of my life, and I will always be beyond grateful for her help. Her work is immaculate and, as promised, stayed put despite a brief sprinkle of rain and hours of enthusiastic dancing. I ended my day in the wee hours, and when I looked in the mirror for the first time since leaving hair and makeup, my jaw dropped when I realized everything was still where it was meant to be. You cannot go wrong with Amanda and Studio One Hair for your wedding hair needs!

Studio One did an amazing job on my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding! In 4.5 hours 2 stylists did 10 people’s hair in great updos. I was really amazed at how efficient they were and made our hair look great. I had clip in extensions I asked to be put in and my stylists knew how to work with them well. Our hairstyles looked great all day and survived the dancing. I would 100% book them again for a wedding or special event!!

I had a great experience with Studio One for my bridal hair and makeup - and for 5 guests / bridesmaids. Our wedding was 15 min away so we didn’t have a travel fee and the services were provided on site. Sarah and Kate were very professional, flexible - most of us don’t wear much makeup so wanted a natural look. Sarah did a great job! Kate did everyone’s hair - all opted for updos with slightly different styles and the hair looked lovely. My sister has allergies and Sarah was fine with her bringing her own makeup. Both hair and makeup lasted the whole day and we didn’t really need touch ups except lips (once). They also brought a lovely calmness to the morning! Thank you so much for helping us look our best!

I really can’t express how grateful I am to have had Amanda and Sarah as my hair & makeup artists. They were fantastic through the entire process - from the initial booking, to my trial, to their services on my wedding day for myself and my bridal party. They are both so kind, attentive, and talented. Everyone looked stunning all day and all night long.

Special shoutout to Sarah for covering up the remnants of a cold sore on my lip which I was so anxious about going into the wedding weekend. It was like magic - you literally couldn’t tell it was there!
