Indian Ridge is a beautiful wedding venue located in Highland, New York. Ideal for nature-loving couples, this countryside retreat offers boundless natural beauty that will complement the elegance of any marriage celebration. The versatile property can accommodate an array of events with its multiple indoor, outdoor, and covered outdoor options.
Facilities and Capacity
Indian Ridge boasts three event spaces that couples can utilize on their special day. For indoor celebrations, the property's remodeled chalet can host up to 80 guests while leaving room for a DJ or band setup and dance floor. This Adirondack-influenced building features stone and timber embellishments that combine to produce its rustic ambiance. For events larger than 80, couples can employ the venue's outdoor tent in combination with the indoor lodge. Meanwhile, couples who wish to host an outdoor ceremony can utilize the farm's third event space and exchange their vows in front of the property's stunning lake. Each event hosted on the property presents couples and their guests with access to the grounds and bountiful gardens that surround the event spaces. Therefore, guests can spend their free time picking apples or meandering through the meadows while couples take advantage of the breathtaking scenery for their wedding portraits.
In order to ensure that each couple receives the event they have envisioned, the owners welcome the use of outside caterers and other vendors. However, for couples who desire a convenient, all-in-one rental package, the venue can recommend a preferred caterer that will curate a custom-tailored menu. The venue can supply the chairs and tables needed for each event. Furthermore, the staff at Indian Ridge can provide setup and cleanup services in order to ensure that couples remain focused on enjoying their special day. The rental of the estate and grounds is accompanied by the use of the lake, and beach volleyball court, and paddle boats that reside on the property. The event spaces at the farm are ideal for hosting the following wedding-related celebrations:
Indian Ridge boasts multiple options for couples and members of the wedding party to obtain sleeping accommodations. The Lodge, which is a 3,800-square-foot building on the property, features enough overnight space for up to 12 people. The 511 House offers four bedrooms that can also serve as lodging quarters. Both of these lovely homes offer a convenient location for guests or members of the wedding party to stay.

Our experience at Indian Ridge Preserve was amazing!. We had our wedding on the second weekend of September 2014. Ricky made us feel so at home and welcomed. The 3 days that we spent on the farm were wonderful. The first day was the rehearsal dinner, which was a wonderful intimate cook-out and Ricky and the staff pulled out all the stops to help my planner, set up, get the grill going for my Chef Nephews and pull it off seamlessly. Ricky was there for anything we needed. The weather was wonderful and the scenic- rustic feel on the farm was relaxing and beautiful.Sent on 05/13/2015
The wedding day turned out to be beautiful although all week it had called for an 80% chance of rain. Ricky and my wedding planner worked together to make sure that a contingency plan would be in place. Luckily, It did not rain and the day seemed like it flowed effortlessly. I loved that we felt like we were being taken care of at every point.
The farm is a pretty large area to cover and Ricky was at the ready, with his turbo cart to get us around. That was very helpful.
The last day was the brunch and that was such a dIfference from the day before. It was peaceful and serene in the Orchard near the lake. We hung out and ate, picked apples and reflected on the day prior. It was just a wonderful experience to have and share with your friends and family. Indian Ridge preserve is wonderful place to have a wedding, if that is what you are looking for. You are in for a really personal experience. This was everything we wanted and more. Thank you so much Ricky, Billiem and the staff at Indian Ridge Preserve for making our Wedding an unforgettable, amazing, amazing time for us."
