It's hard to put into words the kind of impact that Jeff and Stiletto Fire had on our wedding day. They say that people will remember the ceremony, the food/drink, and the music. In the case our special day, the music was the most unforgettable part. But those of you reading this review should know, the customization and planning starts far before the day itself. Working with Jeff was extremely easy and he caters to all of the great ideas that you have for one of the most memorable days in your life. He suggests what's worked to great success in the past and wants to hear from the couple as to how he can make the day as simple and memorable as possible. This is BEFORE Stiletto Fire comes on stage and completely blows away every expectation one could possibly have.

I know what you're thinking. A DJ is an easier option. I mean, even Grandma Ethel has a Spotify account these days. And it's true, having a someone play top 40 hits and the latest Drake album is a perfectly fine way to celebrate. But I guarantee you that no one will be talking about the music 1,5, 10 years after your big day. When you and your significant other are celebrating your pearl anniversary (30 yrs) the two of you are going to pop a bottle of champagne and remember back to the first look, the pictures you took, how Uncle Bill got hammered on whisky sours and hard seltzers, and that Stiletto Fire brought the house down.

I am not exaggerating when I say that for every single second that Stiletto fire was playing, the ENTIRE RECEPTION was partying with them. Multiple generations were dancing, laughing and singing along in the Colony Club in downtown Detroit. The only people that were sitting down were family members that were in their 90s and that was only so they could grab some oxygen and then get right back to breaking a hip to 80s jams and power ballads.

Lastly, I will say this. You will have regrets on your wedding day. It's inevitable. No, it won't be with the person you're marrying. It will be little things, like a picture that you wish turned out better, the food that seemed to be a little overcooked or a family member you wish you didn't invite. But you will not regret getting Stiletto Fire to play for the biggest party of your life.

This is a fantastic, talented band for any occasion. We hired them for our wedding and if there is one thing. I have learned is your guests remember 2 maybe 3 things at a wedding and one is the food (often the sweet table) and the other is the music/entertainment. Stilleto Fire was memorable and everyone we invited thought they were great!! Working with Sam and Jeff was easy and they pin down all the details ahead of time so you worry about nothing on the wedding day. They provide a complete song list to choose from and they even learned our preferred first dance song even though it wasn’t on their list. We can’t say enough about how special our wedding was with this group. Highly recommend for the music for the aisle, dinner and dancing.

From the moment Stiletto Fire started playing, they had everyone on the dance floor & kept the energy going all night. They were incredibly talented, professional, & so much fun to have as part of our special day. Jeff & Sam truly care about you & want your day to go perfectly. Our family & friends continue to talk about how great they were & how much they loved the mix of song selections. One of my absolute favorite memories from our wedding was getting up on stage with my husband & joining the band for a fun finale! It was such an unforgettable moment & the perfect way to end the night.

Our experience with DEC and Stiletto Fire was truly wonderful. From the beginning when we first had a consultation and met with Jeff, he wanted to know our story, our vision for the wedding, and simply took intentional time to get to know us/what we desired for our music for the night. Sam continued to do everything to honor any requests we had even only a few days until the wedding. They were so encouraging and kind from beginning to end!! They made the night so smooth for each dance and announcing the parties, and then were so energy-filled throughout the night, having us and other guests join on stage!! Along with this, they communicated well and were so professional! We hope we someday get to work with them again somehow because it was so wonderful! We also added a sax and trumpet to the band and they were phenomenal! I couldn’t recommend them enough!! We will cherish this experience forever!!

We wanted guests to come to our wedding and have the best time, and this band absolutely nailed it. We honestly can't say enough good things about this band.

They completely made our wedding reception. From the first song to the last, they kept the dance floor packed, and people are still telling us it was one of the most fun weddings they've ever been to. They somehow knew exactly what to play to keep everyone—from our younger friends to our parents—out on the dance floor all night.

What really stood out was how easy they were to work with. We had a few random, fun ideas we wanted to include throughout the night, and instead of just going along with them, they got excited about them too. They were so accommodating and helped make everything feel personal and effortless.

They're incredibly talented, but they're also just great entertainers. They brought so much energy, interacted with our guests, and made the whole night feel like one big celebration instead of just another wedding reception.

Looking back, hiring them was one of the best decisions we made.

Stiletto Fire put on an incredible show at our wedding. They read the crowd and double downed on songs we loved, kept the pace with medleys, and not only sounded fantastic but looked like they were having fun. We got so many people telling us the band was the best they’d ever seen. We picked Stiletto Fire over the other bands we looked at in Detroit because they seemed truly in it for the joy of playing and because Sam Poole, the band leader and pianist, seemed kind and flexible. He was! We had a few special requests he worked with us on and executed perfectly. Their process makes it easy to prep early. To anyone seeking a band for their event, we can’t recommend Stiletto Fire highly enough.

Stiletto Fire was unreal and completely exceeded our expectations for our December 2025 wedding at the Detroit Athletic Club! From the first song to the last, the energy was nonstop, and they did an amazing job working seamlessly with our Lebanese/Italian entertainment. It all flowed perfectly and never felt disjointed. The sax solo was a standout moment for sure, and the singers’ vocals were next level and had everyone on the dance floor the entire time.

One of the highlights of the entire night was when they invited my husband and me up on stage to jam out to “Don’t Stop Believing.” It was such a fun, spontaneous rockstar moment and something we (and all of our guests) will be talking about forever. If you want a band that is insanely talented, fun, and knows how to read the room and elevate the entire night, Stiletto Fire is it. We could not recommend them more.

We cannot say enough incredible things about Stiletto Fire. Our wedding took place in Harbor Springs, Michigan in late August, and from the very first song to the last encore, the energy never dropped for a second.

Working with Detroit Event Company was seamless from the start. We met with Matt Rappaport, who was professional, organized, and truly understood our vision. He made the planning process easy and stress-free, which meant everything came together flawlessly on the big day.

We also worked closely with Sam from Stiletto Fire, who was amazing to communicate with—responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making sure the night felt like us. And wow, did they deliver.

The band was unreal. The vocals, the musicianship, the crowd interaction—everything was top-tier. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, with guests of all ages singing, dancing, and even rushing the stage. We still have friends and family telling us it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. From both of us crowd surfing to our first dance, all the details were amazing.

We cannot say enough good things about Stiletto Fire!!! Our wedding was September 20th, and they truly made the night everything we could have dreamed and more. They were absolutely incredible from start to finish, Matt and Jeff were so accommodating and easy to work with. Even when one band member wasn’t able to make our date, Jeff went above and beyond to make sure Stiletto Fire could still be there. The energy, the talent, the professionalism—everything was top-tier. The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests still talking about how amazing the band was!! From cocktail hour to the end of the night, they read the room perfectly, played the right songs at the right moments, and brought such a fun vibe to the entire night. It was my birthday at midnight, and they let me come on stage and had everyone sing me happy birthday:) they also let me little cousin and I sing pink pony club together which is a memory I won’t forget!
