Experience

Steve studied piano privately at Salem College in his early teen years and then attended the North Carolina School of the Arts during high school, where he studied under the renowned Dr. Clifton Matthews. He was influenced early on by pop artists such as James Taylor, Carole King, Elton John, and Billy Joel.
