Steph Smith Events & Designs (SSE&D) is a wedding planning company. Owner and lead planner, Steph Smith is one of the exclusing planners for Melrose Knitting Mill in Downtown Raleigh (NC) and The Historic Wakefield Barn in Wake Forest (NC), however she enjoys planning weddings all over! Born and raised internationally, Steph has traveled the world and loves pulling inspiration from all different cultures and traditions. With a background in the arts, she excels in finding creative solutions for every obstacle and seeing a vision brought to life. She has experience in planning religious and non-religious celebrations, as well as elopements.

Services Offered

SSE&D offers day-of coordination services, partial planning, and full service planning packages to couples. Couples are able to choose whatever level of support or guidance they may be interested in. Throughout the planning process, Steph is there to act as a resource for her couples, answering questions regarding wedding etiquette, recommending vendors, and looking over contracts. By preparing meticulous timelines and layouts, and communicating those documents to all vendors involved in the big day, Steph keeps her finger on the pulse of each event from beginning to end. Steph is often the first person to arrive at the venue on the day of the wedding to oversee setup. She can also stay until the end of the night to help manage the cleanup.
