Steph made our special day so enjoyable and easy. Her attention to detail, organization and communication was out of this world. She knows what she's doing and when I gave her items that we purchased for decor she could view my vision before even explaining it. I truly couldn't picture our day without her, she was the glue to it all! Several people from my bridal party/ parents told us she was the best planner they have ever seen. We were fortunate to have Steph as our day-of coordinator. She was amazing and helped us on our wedding planning journey from day 1. She went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly and we are so happy she was a part of our special day. Steph is a superhero! Her direction and coordination of the awesome Melrose staff made our day amazing. We highly recommend Steph to everyone. -

I cannot recommend Steph enough! She was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. She sent us some awesome recommendations on other vendors and was always so fast to respond to any questions I had. The document she created for our day of timeline was so thorough that it put me completely as ease during the wedding day and I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. Everything went perfectly the day of the wedding and I know I have Steph to thank for that! -

I cannot day enough about Steph. She was absolutely amazing to work with. She was our day of coordinator for our wedding last September at the Historic Wakefield Barn, but she was SO much more than that. We could not have done it without her. Steph is meticulously organized, and we had multiple planning meetings leading up to the wedding where she walked through line by line every detail of the day. Her incredibly detailed timeline of the day made us feel SO at ease with everything, and she handled the communication with other vendors which was incredibly helpful. Steph was also always so responsive to any emails I sent, and truly has so much industry knowledge that helped us tremendously as we thought through details like linens, room set-up, seating charts, florals, etc. We hired a lot of vendors that Steph recommended, and all were amazing as well. Steph truly is such a gem and so kind and we loved working with her!! She made the actual wedding day so stress-free as well- everything went so smoothly and I truly did not have to worry about a thing besides getting married!! We can’t recommend her enough. -

Absolutely incredible!
Steph is amazing! My husband Will and I got married last year (July 27, 2019), at Melrose Knitting Mill. Steph was our planner and she was beyond incredible. I could not have asked for a more perfect person! I wanted someone as detail oriented as I was, professional and kind. Steph checked all the boxes! She commands the room and made sure everything went off without a hitch. Stephs also so kind and easy to talk to! Additionally, my husband and I while planning were living and working in DC so we did everything remotely. Steph was a huge help in this and accommodating us! 10/10 would recommend Steph!!!Steph Smith Events & Designs's reply:

I can't even begin to explain how wonderful Steph was through the whole wedding planning process. She is very organized yet calming. We used her as our day of coordinator, but she did much more than just that. She gave us piece of mind even several weeks prior to the wedding. There was so many things we had forgotten to do that she picked up on that made our day of run extra smooth. The day of the wedding she handled everything from even grabbing my details and dress from my hotel to making sure the temperature was perfect for me at our reception. We didn't have to worry about a SINGLE thing the day of. I was amazed how smooth everything went! She is simply the best. Hire this girl...She wont let you down!Steph Smith Events & Designs's reply:

I met Steph at a Melrose Knitting Mill open house and knew after talking with her that I wanted her to be my day-of coordinator. Best decision I made for my wedding!
Steph was amazing the entire process. She was very knowledgeable, organized and responsive. She ran everything so well that my wedding party even commented on how good she was.
I would definitely recommend Steph to anyone looking for a coordinator! -

My husband and I had our dream wedding day in November 2018, and I owe SO much to sweet Steph! She was a rockstar planner from start to finish, answering all of my questions ahead of the day, helping me coordinate menus and table arrangements, and most importantly, taking away my stress on the day-of. We highly recommend Steph and Melrose Knitting Mill! She and everyone behind the scenes made one of the most important days to us so smooth and perfect!
Throughout the whole wedding planning process Steph was just an email, call, or text away and guided us through everything. She was very attentive to detail and knows what she’s doing.

I cannot imagine my wedding day without Steph. We met her while touring a venue (that we did not actually end up using for our wedding), and immediately knew we wanted her to be our Wedding Coordinator. First of all, she is so friendly and positive, which is exactly the type of energy you want around you during wedding planning and on your wedding day. She is also super organized and detail-oriented, which is (obviously) important. She was so helpful as we fleshed out all of the details for our big day. She had great recommendations for other vendors to work with when we needed them, and made sure that everything ran seamlessly day-of. We would 1000% recommend Steph to anyone and everyone! She is truly THE BEST.
