We truly have nothing but wonderful things to say about Pat Lance / Spintastic Sounds. Our wedding was in March 2025, and as we look back on it with so much love and joy, it’s clear that Pat played a huge role in making it so memorable.

From the start, Pat was simply the best — fun, compassionate, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with. Right away, he was one of the easiest people to talk to and coordinate with. We had a pretty specific vision: an EDM/Techno-inspired reception paired with a calm, romantic ceremony — two very different musical styles. Pat listened carefully, took everything in stride, and curated the music perfectly to reflect our taste. Every request was played, and the result was absolutely magical. The dance floor was packed the entire night! So many of our guests told us they had never experienced such an energetic, unique wedding vibe before — and that the music and our DJ were two of the highlights.

Beyond the music, though, Pat’s character truly stands out. Our wedding was originally scheduled for October 2024, but had to be postponed due to Hurricane Helene in Asheville. We were devastated. Pat was the very first vendor to reach out to us — he was our first call, and he kept us informed about what was happening locally since we live out of town. His kindness, calm presence, and positivity helped carry us through that tough moment. He made rescheduling seamless and was fully committed to making the new date work.

In the end, everything turned out perfectly — and we’re so grateful that Pat was part of our wedding journey. He’s not only an AMAZING DJ, but a genuinely incredible person. We’re lucky to now consider him a part of our story and we’re lucky we can call him a friend.

I am from the North and was getting married in the South and being new to the area, I had no idea what to expect. From the first time i communicated with Todd and his wife Jessica, I was put at ease. Jessica is super organized like i am and she just "got me" and understood exactly what I wanted. Todd listened to all our ideas and gave his experienced input when my fiance and i were undecided. During the ceremony he literally played the specific list of songs i gave him. During the reception, he was a wonderful MC and really "read" the crowd so he wasn't playing songs to an empty dance floor.
Over the years I have hosted, and planned for others, many parties using both bands and DJs. After experiencing Spintastic Sounds I would feel confident not only using them again but referring them to others.

From the beginning we put our faith and trust in Todd. But, as a Bride and Groom searching for DJ you don't really know what you have until you're there, in the moment, at the reception. Well, lets just say he blew everyone away! My husband and I both grew up in Miami and wanted our guests to really feel like they were at the best dance party they had ever been to. With very little direction (a few "must plays", some "do not plays" and a sampling from a Spotify playlist) Todd killed it! We definitely did not feel like we were at a wedding in Charlotte. EVERY SINGLE GUEST was on the dance floor the entire night. AND he also nailed our request for some Spanish songs. We could not have picked a better DJ. He made our wedding and we could not be any happier with our choice to hire him. Put your faith in him, he will give you exactly what you want. Also worth mentioning is what an impact the lighting had on the venue. Finally, definitely make sure to have Jessica as your right-hand lady. We didn't have a clear-cut plan for her but hiring her for day-of help was a great decision. You won't realize how many little things you will need help with (especially if you want your wedding party to enjoy the night too) until you're looking around for someone to do something. She's the best =) This dynamic duo is guaranteed to make your wedding spectacular. I wish we could do it all again and again.
