Services Offered

Parkes Entertainment offers family-friendly wedding DJ services for diverse ages and cultural backgrounds. Your starting fee includes a consultation so that DJ O.P. can get to know you and your requirements. Additionally, your DJ will take on MC duties for your proceedings and bring a top-tier sound system. Depending on your selections, DJ O.P. will also provide karaoke, a do-not-play list, a photo booth, a projector, and uplighting to further enhance your celebration.

Great and professional DJ

DJ Omar was the DJ at our wedding. I talked to several DJs and he was the one that I was connected with and when my now husband talked to him, he felt the same as well. He understood what type of music we wanted played and kept the music flowing.
He was always very responsive and answered any questions we had.
I would highly recommend him for any event.

Saucier Wedding

Mr. Parkes is a true professional and is very aware of the needs, likes and flexible and possible changing of wedding situations ! He was able to fill in the blanks, play what was requested and add the perfect touch after reading the crowd ! His experience and intuition made our wedding and reception a very memorable and fun filled event ! He truly knows people and knows music and makes it all blend ! I would definitely use him again and recommend him highly to anyone having any type of event. 🥇🏆

Amazing MC/DJ

Recently had a wedding that included family and friends from all over the country, especially California, Texas and Louisiana and we've gotten many many many compliments on how great Omar was as a DJ and MC.

Omar really knows how to read the room, and provide awesome vibes/aura for the crowd.

I'd highly recommend Omar for any wedding or social events!

The perfect wedding!

We hired Parkes Entertainment for our wedding back in May & Omar could not have done a better job! He had a great ability to “feel the room” in order to customize the perfect playlist for whoever was there. Everyone had a blast!

Incredible DJ!

Parkes Entertainment was everything and more of what we could have asked for as our wedding DJ! Not only was he professional and timely (I feel like I gave him little coordination plans and he made everything flow seamlessly) as well as flexible (our original wedding was cancelled by destruction from hurricane Helene but Parkes Entertainment traveled to a different location of short notice to still DJ our wedding). Even better - I made many guests come up to me complimenting me about not only his DJing but also the incredibly fun energy he brought. Our wedding would not have been the same without Parkes Entertainment and you will definitely be making a wise choose by having him at your wedding!

…..A Sneaker Ball Evening Affair

Parkes Entertainment did an AWESOME job with the planning and execution of the music portion of my event which was a 50th Birthday Sneaker Soirée (not a wedding, but had many elements of a wedding reception) I asked for a specific grouping of songs for my grand entrance - he delivered. I sent a short list of randomly selected music for the party portion of the event - he delivered that and more. AND he filled in the perfect recorded music where a live musician was supposed to play but unfortunately couldn’t make it on short notice. Thank you so much!! I will make sure to call Parkes Entertainment again for future events.

Amazing Wedding DJ

Omar was such a joy to work with for our wedding! He was able to get everyone on the dance floor, had such a great personality, and knew how to read the room. He provided high quality sound outdoors for our ceremony and indoors during the reception that truly amazed me. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ no matter the event!

Great time!

DJ Omar Parks made our wedding reception so much fun! He did a wonderful job communicating with me before the event. He followed all of my requests perfectly and was flexible when there were some delays. I was so impressed how he was able to accommodate the sound system to the unique venue lay out. He encouraged guests to participate in the various events of the night. I would use him again for any event.

The best DJ!

DJ OP was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. During our consultation, he made sure that we incorporated everything we wanted for our special day. He provided unlimited support and really did whatever he could do to make us happy. Everyone truly had a blast at the wedding and is still talking about it to this day! DJ OP has become our personal favorite DJ for all of our events!
