I absolutely loved working with Chrissy from Special Occasions hair and makeup. We had to schedule my hair and makeup trial the same week as the wedding as I live out of state. During our planning consultation call, she asked so many questions about different inspiration photos to really gauge what my vision was. By the time I sat in the chair for my trial, she was able to capture my vision without needing anymore information. On the wedding day, she had mentioned that she reviewed our trial session photos and found places where she “could do better”. I really appreciate the time she put into thinking about my day and I really felt like the most beautiful version of myself. She was beyond organized and timely on the day of the wedding with her partner Dina to the point where we were ahead of schedule. All of the bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup styles and they both lasted all day.

From our very first phone call I could tell Chrissy was so passionate and knowledgeable about her work. After I decided to book her we had a phone call that lasted about an hour, talking all about my vision for my hair/makeup for my wedding day. She asked me so many questions and wanted all the little details which really made me feel like she cared about me as a client!

Fast forward to my trial day, which I was a little nervous about. I am not one to get anything fancy done to my hair and I barely wear any makeup so I just wasn't sure what to expect even though I had emphasized all of this to Chrissy during our initial call. I left my trial feeling 100% confident in my choice and knew that Chrissy and her team were going to do an amazing job day of.

My wedding day started off on the best note becuase of Chrissy and her team. They were so professional, so knowledgable, so kind and so patient. We had 7 girls total who needed hair and makeup that morning and our ceremony started at 2:00, meaning we were on a pretty tight schedule. I was a little worried about if we would get behind but we were actually ahead of schedule the entire morning!

All of my girls and my mom LOVED their hair and makeup. We all had very different hair and skin types but Chrissy and her team were able to work with each of us to give us exactly what we wanted. Chrissy was so honest and helpful when she was shown inspiration pictures and everything came out perfectly!

Chrissy was one of the few people who was willing to work with a small bridal party. It was just myself, my maid of honor and my mom and I will always be appreciated of that fact. Chrissy was a joy to work with and fun to be around during the morning of my wedding. Although I had photos for hair and makeup inspiration, she took it and made it a reality. She knew what would work and would not work for me and truly made me look stunning on my wedding day! She wanted to make sure everyone was happy at the end of the day too. Both my mom and my maid of honor weren’t very sure of what they wanted. She was patient and helped guide them every step of the process when she was doing hair and makeup and everyone felt glamorous yet themselves. Hair and makeup stayed all night.

WOW! That's all I can say about Chrissy and Dena!! Chrissy and I have several conversations ahead of time about what I was looking for on my wedding day, when it came time for the trial she nailed it!! Then the day of her and Dena crushed hair and make up. My bridesmaids all got very different and unique styles/ make up done and they all looked beautiful!!

Chrissy and her team did hair and makeup for myself (bride), my mom, bridesmaids, and flower girls. Chrissy is very talented, she listened to what I wanted and made it happen! Everyone looked beautiful! She was responsive and professional to work with.

Chrissy and her assistant were amazing on my wedding day, as well as at my hair trial. She works with you to pick the most flattering style then works her magic to enhance it. My hair and makeup held perfectly all night and I felt like the best version of myself! Super sweet, extremely professional. All of my girls looked fantastic.

Chrissy is phenomenal. She's a great person and has a great business for brides who are doing non-traditional venues. We were getting married at a local museum and couldn't drive 30 minutes to get to my normal salon (which wasn't open on our wedding day anyway!!) and then 30 minutes back before pictures. Chrissy travels and boy am I glad she did. She was wonderful from consult to trial to the morning of. Everyone loved her and her team. I will gladly recommend this company to anyone who will listen.
