Lamija did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it was literally perfection. She did exactly what I wanted and gave me the glam of my dreams. She is professional, clean, and an amazing and kind person. I would recommend her to anyone looking for hair or makeup. She is truly amazing.

I am someone who knows and loves makeup and creative artistry. I recently had the pleasure to work with Lamija for an indian wedding in upstate NY. I’ll be honest, I am very particular. I was close to doing my own makeup for the wedding. There aren’t a lot of makeup artists in the area that can understand what i wanted and deliver, especially for an ethnic wedding, but let me tell you- SHE is TALENTED. She was a dream to work with, incredibly kind, extremely professional and overall a wonderful human. I was so lucky she accommodated me for my big day and I am grateful to her for making me look probably the best I’ve ever looked. She is a double threat with the hair and makeup and I looked like I always dreamed of. Everything looked amazing in photos. She is worth way more than what she charges and I can see why she is so popular. Don’t sleep on her. Thank you Lamija ❤️

I can’t say enough amazing things about Lamjia. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower and my wedding, including three separate looks, and every single one was absolute perfection. I got married on October 25, 2025, and not only did Lamija make me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law feel absolutely beautiful, but she literally saved my wedding day.

I had a total hair crisis the morning of my wedding, my hair was nothing like what I had envisioned, and the stylist I hired refused to fix it. I was on the verge of tears and having a full-blown panic attack. But Lamija came to the rescue. Even though I had only booked her for makeup, I asked if she could possibly redo my hair, and without hesitation, she said yes. She stayed way longer than expected to completely redo my hair and even fixed my mom’s and sister’s (who was my maid of honor) hair too.

If I could do it all over again, I would have hired Lamija for both hair and makeup. She is unbelievably talented, calm under pressure, and truly cares about making her brides feel beautiful. And boy, did she achieve that goal.

Lamija is hands down the best hair and makeup artist in New York and beyond. From start to finish I loved working with Lamija and getting to know her. She took my vision and executed. I wanted vintage 1950s hair with soft glam makeup and she nailed it. Every guest complimented my hair noting it from that era! Lamija is truly an incredible professional hair and makeup artist. She was one of the first people I saw on my wedding day and I am so happy she was. She has a great energy and from our first time meeting she felt like a longtime friend. On my wedding day she was prompt, energized but calm and excited for the day ahead. Throughout the day she helped to keep all of the ladies on schedule and seamlessly collaborated with my photographer and wedding planner during the getting ready process. Lamija did my hair and makeup with stunning results. She helped me feel more confident and beautiful on my wedding day than I already was feeling! I felt like a model! She pays attention to detail not missing a thing. She was there for me making sure my hair and makeup was perfect before photos and walking down the aisle. Her assistant, Inna, was just as professional, kind and talented. She did the hair of many of the bridesmaids and they felt and looked just as gorgeous!

She has amazing communication and was open throughout the process with flexibility and professionalism, but also so kind hearted and down to earth. On my wedding day she was a glowing presence who made my bridesmaids, family and myself feel gorgeous.
