My Bridal Journey with Lamjia
I can’t say enough amazing things about Lamjia. She did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower and my wedding, including three separate looks, and every single one was absolute perfection. From the very beginning of my bridal journey, she made me feel so cared for, understood, and genuinely beautiful.
Her talent is unreal, but it’s her presence that truly sets her apart. She brought such a calming, uplifting energy to moments that could have easily felt overwhelming. She made the entire experience fun, relaxing, and so special. I felt so radiant and so at ease in her hands, like I could fully trust her with one of the most important days of my life, and she delivered beyond anything I imagined.

I got married on October 25, 2025, and not only did Lamija make me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother-in-law feel absolutely beautiful, but she literally saved my wedding day.
I had a total hair crisis the morning of my wedding, my hair was nothing like what I had envisioned, and the stylist I hired refused to fix it. I was on the verge of tears and having a full-blown panic attack. But Lamija came to the rescue. Even though I had only booked her for makeup, I asked if she could possibly redo my hair, and without hesitation, she said yes. She stayed way longer than expected to completely redo my hair and even fixed my mom’s and sister’s (who was my maid of honor) hair too.
If I could do it all over again, I would have hired Lamija for both hair and makeup. She is unbelievably talented, calm under pressure, and truly cares about making her brides feel beautiful. And boy, did she achieve that goal.

Lamija is hands down the best hair and makeup artist in New York and beyond. From start to finish I loved working with Lamija and getting to know her. She took my vision and executed. I wanted vintage 1950s hair with soft glam makeup and she nailed it. Every guest complimented my hair noting it from that era! During our first look the first thing my husband noted was how beautiful my hair was! Lamija is an ARTIST. You will be the luckiest bride in the world if you can book her for your wedding!!!!! -

Lamija is truly an incredible professional hair and makeup artist. She was one of the first people I saw on my wedding day and I am so happy she was. She has a great energy and from our first time meeting she felt like a longtime friend. On my wedding day she was prompt, energized but calm and excited for the day ahead. Throughout the day she helped to keep all of the ladies on schedule and seamlessly collaborated with my photographer and wedding planner during the getting ready process. Lamija did my hair and makeup with stunning results. She helped me feel more confident and beautiful on my wedding day than I already was feeling! I felt like a model! She pays attention to detail not missing a thing. She was there for me making sure my hair and makeup was perfect before photos and walking down the aisle. Her assistant, Inna, was just as professional, kind and talented. She did the hair of many of the bridesmaids and they felt and looked just as gorgeous!
My hair and makeup held up, still looking photo ready exiting my venue at the end of the evening after dancing, eating, drinking and some tears!

I truly don't have enough words to thank Lamija for the phenomenal job she did on my wedding day. From the very first conversation I had with her, to the trial, I knew I could trust her with my bridal hair and make up. Not only did she create a look that was absolutely flawless and exactly what I envisioned, but she stayed by my side the entire day to make sure everything remained picture perfect, and that meant the world to me. The best part is I told her I needed her to stay on the spot with no heads up, and she was more than glad to, regardless of her hours long drive back home to Syracuse from Buffalo, NY. Her talent is undeniable; my hair and make up lasted all day and night (through 90 degree weather, Lebanese zaffeh/dabke dancing, and of course the happy tears). But beyond her skill and perfectionism and attention to detail, it was her presence, patience, and kindness that truly stood out. She brought such a calming energy during what can be a very emotional and overwhelming day. She went above and beyond for me and my bridal party, driving from my house to the church to the wedding venue, touching us up in between. She also loved and appreciated my culture, and was video taping me and all the festivities and created a gorgeous insta reel for me which shows how truly loving and genuine she is. My family and friends absolutely loved her, and it really felt like she was part of the bridal party. If you're looking for someone reliable and talented to make you feel beautiful on your big day, look no further. She is all that and more. I can't recommend her enough. rst experienced Lamija’s high quality services as MOH for my sister’s wedding in Upstate NY. So when it came time for my wedding, I had high expectations for my hair and makeup artist.
Since I was getting married in South Carolina, I had a trial with an artist recommended by my wedding planner. I was extremely disappointed with the results and knew I needed to find someone else. Lamija immediately came to mind and I am so thankful I decided to give her a call.
Lamija rearranged her schedule to fly down from NY to SC for my big day. Some of the travel logistics were difficult and Lamija went above and beyond to make this as easy on me as possible — calling the airline when her flight got changed and going shopping for some larger products that she couldn’t bring in her carry on once she arrived. She was completely prepared and professional, and I was blown away by the look she did for my wedding day.
If you look at Lamija’s Instagram, you will quickly see that the quality of her services are unmatched, but what you won’t see is the wonderful person behind the camera. Lamija’s calming presence and go with the flow attitude make everyone feel so at ease on what can be a stressful day.
You deserve to feel your most beautiful inside and out on your wedding day, and I promise Lamija is the one who can make that happen. -

I just knew her talent and I’ve seen so many examples of her work that I completely trusted her. And like I knew she would - she gave me the wedding day hair and makeup of my absolute dreams. I felt so confident and beautiful—everything turned out even better than I could have imagined. I received so many compliments throughout the day and it was all thanks to her incredible talent. I hired Lamijas to create my wedding makeup and hair vision. I must say, I’ve had my hair done plenty of times before and I’ve never had someone actually recreate the image I give them like Lamijas did. She is amazing at looking at a picture and recreating it! After my trial, I was hesitant about changing some things about my look to make it more “me.” She was very receptive to changing little details and even offered to do a second trial if I needed it. My hair and makeup was perfect on my wedding day. I will admit, I was sweating a lot and kept thinking my face was going to show it, but it never did. I’m so impressed that I didn’t have to worry about how everything was going to stay throughout the day. Definitely reach out to Lamijas if you need someone to take care of you on your wedding day! Talented is an understatement! -

When I first saw Lamija’s Instagram, I was in awe of her talent and immediately knew I wanted to work with her! From our first phone conversations to final touches on the wedding day, I felt comfortable and relaxed and knew I was in good hands. The wedding party all had their hair and makeup done by Lamjia and her team as well. To this very day almost a year later, my mom still raves about how pretty they made her look and feel! Stunning artistry and unmatched professionalism
Lamija is an amazingly talented artist. She was wonderful to work with and my wedding day would not have been the same without her. She highlights the beauty of her brides and gorgeously accentuates their inner light. She maintained her energy and composure while creating the hair and makeup looks for my entire bridal party. There was a rain shower during my outdoor wedding, but you would have never known based on how the hair and makeup held up! Lamija literally saved my wedding day
Lamija literally saved my wedding day. One month before my wedding date I experienced every brides worst nightmare. I got a call from my original makeup artist telling me she accidentally double booked my wedding and was no longer able to do my wedding day makeup for me or my bridesmaids. She reached out to other makeup artists all over the area to see who could take over my wedding day and by miracle, Lamija happened to be available and was willing to step in last minute. At first, I was pretty disappointed because I'm super picky about my makeup and I had already done a trial with my original makeup artist and fell in love with her work. So I was very nervous to put my trust in a new artist so soon before my wedding. However, all of my worries instantly went away once I first met Lamija. First off, she was so accommodating and open to scheduling a trial with me last minute. Then once I got to my trial I was absolutely blown away with not only how beautiful my makeup was, but also how knowledgeable and experienced she was in her work. She was so professional yet so genuine and honest, and made me feel so comfortable in her chair. She paid attention to every little detail of my makeup and went out of her way to make sure it was flawless and exactly how I wanted it. I remember leaving my trial feeling so lucky and blessed to have her as my new makeup artist.
Then once my wedding day came around I was even more blown away by her work. Every single one of my bridesmaids' makeup was stunning and perfect. She took her time with each one of them and listened to all of their questions and concerns to make sure they were all happy. My wedding day makeup was also everything I ever dreamed of and more. I felt so so beautiful and couldn't help but cry when I first looked in the mirror.
She was also so accommodating and supportive on the day of. Even when my florist completely messed up my wedding flowers just hours before the ceremony. Lamija was such a calming force and gave me some great advice on how to solve the problem which actually ended up saving my wedding day again.
I truly can't thank Lamija enough for stepping in and being a part of my big day. She is absolutely amazing and worth every single penny. -

I Highly Recommend Lamija’s Beauty Room!
Lamija did an amazing job on my wedding day! She did everything she could to make me feel the absolute best I can! She was so accommodating with my skin sensitivity and she absolutely nailed the look I was going for with my makeup and hair! It looked so natural and amazing, it felt like I had no makeup on at all and despite the day being extremely windy (my wedding was on a top of a big hill) my hair looked perfect the whole day even with extensions in! Mia is one of the sweetest people and made me feel so special for all my wedding events. She is a top notch makeup artist and hair stylist who stays up to date on all the current trends and LOVES a full glam look!! She has NYC talent but is local which is amazing. She listens to what your goals are and then blows you away. I showed her my hair photo and she nailed it on the trial and wedding day. I’ve always had trouble getting my hair to stay curled and smooth for long events (I have naturally curly hair) and after my trial I knew this would be no issue for Mia. She tamed my hair and made it so silky and smooth, while also maintaining a styled look all day and night. She also did my makeup for my rehearsal dinner and she made it look like I was wearing a filter - it’s that flawless. The cost is high end but it 100% matches the result you get. She is easy to communicate with during the planning process and she is on time and efficient for day of events. I would happily use Mia again for any hair or makeup needs. 1000000/10 recommend. -

Where to begin..
I had known years before getting engaged I would use Lamija as my wedding makeup artist. She is next level, LA/NYC type of talent and I feel lucky to have someone with this level of skill in such close proximity to where I live! I could not recommend her enough. Initially, I felt like it was quite an investment but I can’t say this enough- she is worth every penny. Everyone in my bridal party wanted her contact info after she did our makeup. You will feel like a princess on your wedding day. You will also want her to be your friend by the time you’re done working with her- she is so sweet and makes you feel so taken care of on your big day. -

I am so happy I found Lamija’s Beauty Room for our wedding. She is super talented, professional, and worked speedily for our busy schedule the day-of, without sacrificing quality of service. Lamija listened for my input and was super attentive to my concerns for my bridal look. I usually hate how MUAs do my makeup but had no concerns with Lamija. She can do it all, from full glam to a soft, more natural look. One of my bridesmaids ended up using her for her own wedding because she is just that good. Trust me you cannot go wrong with her! She is the best!
Lamija is the best person in upstate New York to do your hair&makeup.. honestly I think she is the best in all states… you go to her and you are relaxing! Yes, you are relaxing on your wedding day because you are sure you going to look gorgeous!! No stress, no tears, only joy!
Lamija will make you the most gorgeous in the room! When I was a bride and step out of the car, everyone facial expression was SOMETHING! They couldn’t describe how wonderful did I look, and it was natural as well!

THE best MUA in upstate/ western NY
I literally cannot say enough good things about Lamija ! Not only is she is amazing at what she does but also she’s just an awesome human being. We did sort of a mini trial after my first trial because I was torn on what I wanted and she really made me feel so confident in the makeup style I went with and also that she knew what worked best on my face. WOW, where do I begin?! I am so fortunate to have had Lamija play such a big role in our special day, and I couldn’t have asked for someone better to take on the crucial responsibility of making us girls feel beautiful and confident. I knew right away after seeing her work on social media, and after hearing such rave reviews from multiple people, that I just HAD to have her. From the time that I officially booked her, right up until the big day, she was always just a text or a phone call away to answer any questions that I may have had. She was also extremely patient and flexible, which is something that every bride needs on their big day. What could have turned into a wedding day nightmare (me wanting both hair and makeup completely different from what was originally planned for at the trial run), ended up turning out more perfect than I could have ever imagined, thanks to Lamija. She executed my wishes exactly, and made me feel truly beautiful. I’ve been living in LA for 10 years & when we got engaged and started planning our wedding in Syracuse (where we are from) I had my work cut out for me to find vendors who I felt comfortable with booking 2500 miles away. Lamija is the absolute very best!!! I booked her for my wedding hair and was blown away. I am crazy specific when it comes to my hair and wanted the most perfect Hollywood curls. When I was looking for a hairdresser and a makeup artist for my wedding day, I heard a lot of good things about Lamija and I had been following her on Instagram for so long that I had to reach out to her after looking at all the amazing work she does.
