Associate DJ/MC Jim Anderson
is an award-winning DJ who started in the DJ business when he was only 13 years young and has been entertaining wedding guests at receptions ever since. Originally from the Northeast, Jim has worked at prominent radio stations in Central Florida and in Las Vegas as an on-air personality. As well as being a mobile DJ, Jim is also an accomplished musician who has performed live for audiences across the United States and in the United Kingdom.

By day, he is a logistics manager at a company in Harrisburg, Pa. As a DJ for your special occasion, Jim’s talent and experience will custom fit the music to help make your event all that you dreamed it would be and more. When it comes to the customer service part of what we do, there is no one more accommodating. Jim takes the “customer service” part of being a DJ just as importantly as the entertaining part. He has a reputation for going above and beyond for his Brides and Grooms. Associate DJ/MC Kevin Bachota graduated from Greenville High School in Mercer County, PA in 2003. While in high school, Kevin worked for a local, family-owned skating rink DJing. He loves music. It’s a big part of his life. He enjoys all genres but is more fond of Hip Hop and Top 40 Dance Music. Kevin listens to music every day and is always keeping up with the latest music and news. He loves anything with a good beat and encouraging lyrics. Kevin is always mixing music in his spare time. Kevin is very tech savvy and is very good with electronics. He loves to interact with the crowd and leading interactive dances such as the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha Slide (of course he won't play these if they are on your Do Not Play list)!

Kevin is a family man and recently married to his wife Jessica. Soundwaves owner Chris Pyle was the DJ for Kevin and Jessica’s wedding. So, Kevin was on the dance floor all night at his reception! After his wedding he approached us about joining the Soundwaves team. We are very proud to have him be a part of our staff! If there was an award for “Nicest DJ” Kevin would win hands down. He loves showing everyone a great time and giving them a fun-filled event that they will never forget. Kevin specializes in weddings!

I love all music genres and I enjoy playing a variety such as the 80s, ’90s, 2000s, Motown, hip-hop, and dance music, just to name a few. I look forward to working with you and will ensure everything from planning to execution will be flawless.

For over 20 years, DJ Christopher Coolsen (AKA C.J.) has spun the tunes and kept the fun times going on the dance floor for all occasions, including Weddings, Birthdays, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, corporate events and holiday parties, and more. C.J. has played at venues up and down the Mid-Atlantic, from the Poconos to Maryland’s Eastern Shore and from Cape May to Pittsburgh.

Before he played his first wedding, C.J.worked as an off-Broadway actor in dramatic, comedic, and musical productions in Philadelphia, New York, and his native Central PA. The transition from Actor to DJ came very naturally to him and has allowed him to be a natural MC. Christopher currently works as a production stage manager and sound designer for various theater companies.

DJ C.J’s philosophy for your wedding or party is this: It’s your day, done your way! He wants to play the music and songs that you and your fiance like and also songs that your guests want to hear. To help you plan the course of events the way you would like it to flow. To MC your event and create the energy and the atmosphere that you want that will keep you and all of your guests on the dance floor all night having fun!

He will go over all the details with you to ensure your event is seamless. He’ll take care of all of the “behind the scenes” coordination with your vendors so you won’t have to worry about anything the day of your wedding or event. With over 400 events to his name, Christopher is a great “crowd reader” and has the DJ skills to get everybody on the dance floor and keep them there ALL Night long! He’s very flexible and adaptable to any changes on the day of the event. The word NO is not in his vocabulary! He is very accommodating and will take extra care to make sure your day is perfect and worry-free!
