The Bankery is connected to this business owned by the same people and we went with them for our cake. The taste testing day was amazing and delicious!!! Picking out our flowers was stress-free and fun. Every step of the way with both of these vendors has been amazing! We are lucky to have them be an important part of our very special day!

Absolutely, positively Amazing!!!! The girl we worked with was so sweet, patient, and flexible. We told her our price point and she worked VERY hard to give us the look we wanted and still keep it really affordable. We priced out over 12 florist and Skowhegan Fleuriste was the most affordable!! She showed me some of her prior work and I KNEW right away I would be using this shoppe. I was almost hesitant to use this shoppe because of their low prices but I am SO glad that I did. Their work was so much better than the competition and I came in nearly $200 under budget, which was amazing. On the day of our wedding, we had a last minute need for two additional pieces and they whipped them up with ease and they looked identical to the others we had planned weeks before. We could not have been happier and would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Great value for DIY flowers

I hired Skowhegan Fleuriste and The Bankery for floral and cake, since they do a package deal for delivery. (Cake reviewed elsewhere.) While they did not offer a military discount, the value of buying flowers in bulk for my DIY table arrangements ended up being good. I did have them make the bridal and bridal party bouquets, boutonnieres, and wrist corsages for the moms/grandmas. I received plenty of flowers in buckets for the DIY table scapes, so their quantity estimates were spot on. The florist I spoke with took time to review my vision and offered suggestions as to which flowers would work with my colorful, simple wildflower desires. I was using miniature vases and imagining 2-3 stems in each vase, assorted colors but sticking with Maine's early summer/late spring wildflower blooms since my wedding was outdoor/indoor on a former farm/ reception in a barn so wanted to keep it true to the venue. The flowers were delivered right on time the day before the wedding and my mother in law and matron of honor spent a few hours cutting and filling vases and mason jars prior to rehearsal. The end result was spectacular and nobody could believe we had done them ourselves. It would not have looked as professional had we not had excellent quality flowers and plenty of them. The bouquets and wearables turned out beautifully as well, although the matron of honor's had the wrong color ribbon wrapping (no big deal in the end, but wanted her to be differentiated).
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
