Honestly I don't know how to describe how grateful I am for Joyce and her team, but I will try my best.

My now husband and I attended a friend's wedding in May 2018 which Joyce planned. The wedding was beautiful, organized and the couple seemed relaxed the entire evening. I did not know of Joyce's name until the couple posted their wedding photos on Facebook with a special thanks to their planner - Joyce. This led me to Joyce's business page. I was so impressed with all of her clients' glowing reviews which were all 5 stars. I then decided to reach out to Joyce to learn more about her services when at the time I was not even engaged. I then spoke to the couple whom married in May directly to hear from them, and both of them LOVED Joyce and her work. Knowing this assurance from someone I know, we decided to reach out to Joyce for an initial planning after we got engaged.

At the initial meeting, Joyce asked about our vision of the wedding, our wants, and needs. With a big family and church guest list, we intended to have 300 guests; however, our budget was quite low for this huge number. I was nervous about Joyce's reaction when she heard of the budget with this number of guests and whether we were being unrealistic. Joyce kept a calm composure although I knew the budget surprised her, never once she made us feel small. This was when I realized I wanted to hire her.

Upon the initial meeting, we decided to hire Joyce to be our planner. Before we even signed the contract, Joyce had already started to look for venues which would have the elements we wanted and could hold our guests number. Within the first week, Joyce already contacted multiple venues, compared their costs and services, so we could start to narrow down the list to start visiting. She was fast with the process. After 2 weeks, we were already visiting different venues, and of course at each one, my husband and I were already so trusting in Joyce that we let her ask all of the questions. She gave us a timeline to finish the tasks and reminded us along the way when the due date was getting close for each task. She broke down big tasks to smaller chunks, so we wouldn't feel overwhelmed with the process. She was always ahead, contacting and keeping in touch with photographers, makeup artist, florist, DJ, venue, etc. We felt at ease because we knew Joyce had covered all bases.

She was with us every step of the planning process, every vendor visit, and every email to vendors. As highly efficient as Joyce was, we never felt pressured by her with time or making decisions. She gave suggestions but always respected our decisions. Our decisions were based on her suggestions anyway because we trusted if she suggested something, it would be the best way to do it. She was always available through phone calls, texts, Facebook messages, etc. even at the latest hour of the night.

For 11 months of planning, I saw her as a friend. She was caring, kind, and always ready to do whatever it took to help take off the stress off my shoulder. The evening before our rehearsal, Joyce called me to ask if everything was okay and if there was anything that worried me. She reassured that she would take care of anything that rise up. I was so touched by her care, and I will always remember this special touch.

On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly with no hiccups. Guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful and seamless the wedding was. My mom got phone calls at 6am the morning after the wedding because guests couldn't wait to tell her how much they loved the wedding!

All of the vendors love Joyce, and this speaks so much volume. The photographer whom has worked with Joyce in the past even mentioned to me, "I love it when Joyce is planning the wedding that I'm shooting for. She makes my life so much easier". The makeup artist told me Joyce is the best planner she has ever worked with even with the countless of weddings she has worked for. I couldn't help but smile knowing the best decision I made with this wedding (beside marrying my best friend) was to hire Joyce and her team to plan and run the show.

To any bride/groom who is considering a wedding planner: please allow yourself to get help from the best of the best.

I can't recommend our wedding planner enough for the best day of my life! From the moment we met, she demonstrated a level of professionalism and creativity that truly set our minds at ease. Joyce took was extremely organized and a great communicator throughout the process. Utilizing her services was hands down one of the best decisions we made.

Joyce was such an outstanding wedding planner. She doesn't treat you like she's your client. Instead, she treats you like she's your best friend. She has so many clients who she is helping plan a wedding but she somehow manages to make you feel like you are her only client. She is dependable. She will answer your questions and concerns at all hours of the day. She is detail oriented and organized. She will keep you on track so that your wedding day will be just as you imagined. I had a semi-long engagement (~1.5 years) and she has been consistently there for me throughout the whole planning process.

To begin with, Joyce is super knowledgeable. We had about 5 months to plan; Joyce worked closely with us and planned everything to the teeth. She breaks down the giant daunting task of wedding preparation into easy-to-follow tasks, from venue search/selection, to invitation and floral arrangement, to food and cake tasting etc. With her help, nothing is missed including the smallest details.

Joyce is also very resourceful. She has a great relationship with some of the most reputable vendors. We benefitted greatly from using her recommended vendors. She always has our interest at heart, and stays on top of the vendors to ensure we get what we want. From the compliments given by her vendors, I know she is also one of the best planners they work with!

There are too many great things about Joyce: She works tirelessly; she listens carefully to understand our needs; she is always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done right; she communicates effectively and timely with everyone involved in the wedding; she is super creative in finding solutions when there is a problem…I can go on and on.

Another thing to mention: Her fees are very reasonable for the work she put in. I’ve heard much higher fees for wedding planning, and believe I got so much value from choosing Joyce! She is honest, and has client’s need and interest at heart – wedding is expensive. Joyce helped us manage our budget to the teeth, and part of that effort includes giving us a very reasonable price for her service!

We could not have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Joyce. We are a mixed couple (Chinese and Jewish) and mixing elements of our cultures on our wedding day was very important. Joyce was so involved in making our dreams come to life with honoring traditions from both sides. She even was able to arrange an intimate tea ceremony seamlessly into our day. She went above and beyond in so many ways and we highly recommend her for any wedding. She will be sure to deliver.

We were referred by friends who recently had a Chinese American wedding in Atlanta, elating about her logistical organization and attention to cultural traditions. At first, we were a bit skeptical about hiring a planner in the earnest hopes of saving money; however, I am ever so grateful to have had someone as meticulous and thoughtful as Joyce to help throughout the wedding planning process, as she helped us cut down costs on unnecessary pomp and circumstance and navigate through, at times, thick wedding parlance. After an initial conversation, it was evident that Joyce was the right person - someone that could juggle our language needs (Mandarin, Cantonese, and English), is competitively-priced, and had years of experience on the Atlanta wedding circuit. Her professional vendor and venue contacts were also splendid! Both my spouse and I are based out-of-state, but Joyce was accommodating and helped us make the most of the dates we were in town for wedding stuff.

I think the real sparkle about Joyce is her constant readiness to be available to her couples. From the eight months we worked with her, she could easily be found with a text, WeChat, Whatsapp, or Facebook Messenger away. She takes the time to hear about our concerns - no matter how big or minutiae something was - and offered sound, logistical advice (even at 11:37 PM one time!). Even though Joyce couldn’t coordinate the day-of-wedding logistics, she made the transition to working with Renee (Tse Gallery) a breeze and well-known in advance. Her openness to communication also goes both ways; she always kept us in the loop with updates as well as making sure that we were still making good progress on tasks on her personalized timeline for us. It was a pleasure to have Showcase Your Style plan our wedding, and we would recommend their services to anyone seeking to plan a wedding in Atlanta!

My wedding planning is really in detail and well organized. Even though I only gave planner two months to plan my wedding, everything is perfect. I don't need to worry about anything because she will always remind me in time. That's why I don't have to be stressful like most of brides.
