Sheryl Diane's performance in weddings has mostly been during the cocktail hour transitioning guests into the reception. Creating a dedicated song to the couple (requested by the couple) while they get comfortable at their reception has been a specialty. Performing now in the duo, Aviatrix, with violinist, Mary Gross.

Sheryl and her band played during our wedding cocktail hour in 2013. We connected on Craiglist, and thought it might be a bit of gamble, but my husband, our guests and I were really pleased with the results. Sheryl went out of her way to find and practice songs that had special meaning to us. She located extra musicians to augment her usual group, including a violinist. And she sent us great video clips of her practice sessions leading up to the wedding. They really made our day special and definitely scored me some points with my grandmother-in-law, who loved reconnecting with oldie swing songs!Sent on 06/12/2016
Another super awesome perk for the over-stressed and engaged. Sheryl was super easy to work with day-of. She made sure all the connections synced with the venue, brought her own wiring (and electric piano!), and got there plenty early enough to start the fun on time. (Did I mention the wedding was in New Orleans? Her organization might thus be dubbed extra miraculous!). I really appreciate her and her band's time and effort. :).
