She created garments in the clothing industry before moving to the United States and founding Sewing Cinderella. Olena now focuses her 21 years of professional experience towards preparing clothing for weddings and formal events.

Olena was born & educated in Kharkiv, Ukraine, a city with a population of 1.5 million. She was educated at Kharkiv Technological University where she earned a Master's Degree as a Seamstress/Tailor/Dress Maker. She worked for several entrpreneurs in Ukraine, designing and making clothing.
In 2011 Olena became enaged to an American man. In 2013 she immigrated to the U.S. and married this man in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Shortly after,she opened her own business, Sewing Cinderella LLC.
Olena loves to make her clients look and feel beautiful and confident. She works with the goal of making each dress "fit like a glove". She works according to strict standards, always striving for excellence. Her clients say she is a perfectionist.
