We got married at Scribner Bend in May 2025 and it was a dream from start to finish!

Scribner Bend was the only venue we visited during our wedding planning process because we felt so pleased with the beauty, charm, pricing, and process they offered. We were especially pleased by how much was included in the venue package that we didn’t have to coordinate separately, like lighting, tables, and chairs. Shaye was an absolute delight to work with and we always felt cared for. As a queer couple, it was so nice to feel welcomed and accepted by Scribner Bend and all of their preferred vendors we spoke with. May was the perfect time to be there, the white roses on the arches were in bloom which complemented the rest of our florals beautifully. Our whole day flowed so smoothly thanks to Deija, our day-of planner provided by Scribner Bend, and all of the rest of the staff. All of our guests were so complimentary of the wine, the setting, and the flow of the evening. We really could not have wished for a better venue experience.

We also want to note, Paesanos was an exceptional caterer! I know some might be concerned with not having a choice of caterer but we found it to be a relief (one less vendor to coordinate) and Paesanos did a fantastic job. Rain was amazing at communication, and Diana was wonderful to work with on the day. They even packed up a couple of containers of leftovers for us to go home with.

My husband and I got married at Scribner Bend in June 2023, and it was absolutely amazing! We had searched through a ton of venues, and when we found Scribner Bend, everything just fell into place.

Jessica was incredibly helpful and made the entire planning process so easy. She always helped us answer any questions we had and communicated very well. We felt so supported by her throughout the entire planning process and on our wedding day! She was such a joy to work with, and we are so thankful for her! We couldn't have planned our wedding without her. The staff were phenomenal, and we can't thank them enough for helping us make our wedding day so special!

The catering provided by Paesano's was exceptional. The menu options were diverse, and the food was not only delicious but beautifully presented. Our guests raved about the quality of the meal, and some even mentioned it was the best they've had at a wedding.

This venue is stunning, and I highly recommend this to couples who are searching for a wedding venue. All of our guests were obsessed with how enchanting and beautiful the venue was.

We are so happy with choosing Scribner for our wedding! It was the perfect venue for our wedding day! The entire staff was amazing from Jessica ensuring I had everything I needed planning for the wedding to the day of staff checking in if we needed anything to the reception making sure we were okay! I 10000 percent recommend this venue for your wedding! What you pay for with what is included is completely worth it! I did not have to worry about anything the day of the wedding! Jessica is the best wedding coordinator and is a built in wedding planner for you! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we truly were so happy with everything!

We got married at Scribner Bend on 6/10/2023, and wow, where do I start?

The planning process was remarkable easy. Jessica got back to us as soon as we first reached out, and within a few days we toured the grounds with Laura, who was sweet and professional and made us feel welcome and comfortable. The pricing and payment timeline were totally transparent, and the rest of the planning process was laid out in an organized manner for us.

Jessica, Laura, and Sarah gave us outstanding service in the months leading up to our big day. Jessica guided us through the whole process, from picking vendors to creating ceremony diagrams, and answered all of the questions that we had. We had a few last-minute changes (swapping chairs for high chairs, rearranging chairs at tables, adding handicapped parking spots, etc) and every change got implemented perfectly.

Jessica also coordinated with all of the vendors on the day of the wedding, so my husband and I were entirely free to spend time with our friends and family. Our wedding day was super relaxed and smooth, since Jessica and the SBV staff had taken care of so much beforehand, and took care of everything else on the day of (to include setting up and breaking down the tables with decorations/table numbers, arranging the right number of handicapped parking spots, accepting flower and cake deliveries, coordinating with out DJ/MC for the sound setup, prepping the bridal bungalow and groomsmen airstream trailer, being welcoming to and readily available for our guests, moving florals from the arch to the reception after the ceremony, etc etc). My bridesmaids and our hair and makeup artists all said that it was the most chill wedding they had ever been a part of, and that's because the staff at SBV did so much behind the scenes for us.

The venue itself is jaw-dropping gorgeous. I'm from the east coast, so I love the "lush greens" look, and SBV accomplished that so well, with the rose-covered arches, tall walnut tree, and rows and rows of vines. The whole venue is covered in greenery and smells so lovely because of all of the roses and honeysuckle and jasmine. I love that the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all in different areas, so the guests get to see different scenery as the night goes on. My husband and I really wanted an outdoor wedding, and while the reception is within a tent (for protection from the elements), you are surrounded by greenery the entire night. While the weather on our day was unseasonably beautiful, there's also tons of shade for sunny/hot days. We got away with minimal florals and uplighting, since the venue is already so well lit and beautiful. Finally, because of the location, SBV felt incredibly peaceful and private. There was no chance of disruptions from the outside world. We felt like we were in a little pocket of heaven all night, and in the following few days I lost count of how many people said that it was "the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to".

We purchased the package for unlimited wine and beer for our celebration. The wine was delicious and well received. We weren't thrilled about one of the beer options (we were provided with Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Coors Light, and Rolling Rock), but we were able to bring a beer of our choice to swap out for one of them. The venue cannot serve hard liquor, but all other beverages are fair game, and our beverages were served exactly as expected. There was never a line at the bar, and our guests drank as much as they wanted. We also opted for the sparkling almond wine toast, which was delicious and well loved.

I posted a separate review for Paesanos. Briefly, we received exceptional service and phenomenal food from Rain and the rest of the Paesanos staff. We were blown away by how delicious the food was, and how professional the service was. Check out my other review for more details.

Everything considered, we are so, so thankful that Jessica and the other staff at SBV took such great care of us in the months leading up to our wedding day, and our family and friends on the day itself. Our day was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.

Scribner was the best place to get married! It was so beautiful and their staff is amazing. They take care of so much of the small details behind the scenes make sure your wedding goes smoothly! My husband and I had our wedding last month at Scribner Bend. It was the perfect day, and we loved everything about having our wedding there. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff is amazing and made our day run perfectly. We planned our Sacramento wedding from where we currently live in New York City, and Jessica (the venue's wedding coordinator), was amazing from the beginning. She was very fast to respond to any questions I e mailed her throughout the planning process, which put me at ease while planning it from so far away. Sarah was our day of coordinator and she was also great. We had a lot of guests compliment how beautiful everything was, and a few told us it was the best wedding they'd ever been to, which made us happy. It was truly our dream wedding, and we're so happy we had it there.

12/10! My husband and I got married at Scribner Bend in September 2021 and I could not say more positive things about the venue and the SBV team. Jess is the wedding coordinator there, she is knowledgeable, friendly and patient throughout the whole process. She is patient when asking questions and easy to work with. The Paesanos team is also easy to work with, and the food was amazing. The whole venue itself is beautiful, and the guests at our wedding were impressed. Would highly recommend working with Jess and the SBV crew for your special day!

The first and only venue we looked at!! Beautiful vineyard and the location is perfect, right on the river and easy to find. All of our guests loved it. It’s the perfect cozy, intimate atmosphere while you still get beautiful scenery and surroundings. Everyone working there is the absolute best, I felt like I had so much help, I don’t know how I would have done it without them! Little details I probably would have forgotten about were handled and it just all felt so organized. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but they made it so much easier. Soo friendly, professional, helpful, straightforward, you name it. From the first day we went to go check it out I knew it was the place I wanted. The in house caterer (Paesano’s) served us the most delicious food, all of our guests raved about the food and wine - and we got to enjoy plenty of it too. We had the most beautiful day and couldn’t have picked a better place to start our life together.❤️

As an out of town couple my fiancé and I knew we wanted our wedding in our hometown. We found Scribner Bend Vineyards online and immediately fell in love with the venue. I had reached out to Jessica and after our emails I had my cousin view the venue while FaceTiming us (since were 1700 miles away) and after our FaceTime chat we knew that this was THE venue!

Working with Jessica was such a breeze! She was so organized and would even send me updates on what was needed. On our wedding day everything was so perfect from beginning to end. Jessica and the Scribner Bend team were so amazing and they made sure everything ran smoothly.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous and there almond white wine is SO good. I highly recommend this venue!

I really couldn't have dreamed of a better venue! Jessica was so easy to work with even from out of state! She answered all my questions, no matter how big or small, within 24-48 hours! Being out of state communication was HUGE for me in the planning process! I would definitely recommend SBV to all of my friends and family and I would definitely consider having another event there as well!
