I got married at Wilson Vineyards on 9/17/16 and it was a fairy tale wedding.

Looking for a venue. We live in LA and were on the road by 5 am on Saturday in August 2015. Once we got in Sacramento we looked about 6 venues. None were wineries because my fiance wanted hard alcohol at the wedding. Vineyards serve wine and beer only. There weren't any that we loved. We had an appointment the next day at Folsom, but later Saturday night decided to cancel the appointment and look at vineyards near Clarksburg. Wilson's was so accommodating last minute for us to look at the venue. We stepped onto the property and LOVED it. Deep down inside we both knew this was the venue, but still had 1 more winery to look at after. After our last venue on Sunday we drive straight back to LA. It was an exhausting weekend and drive back, but it was a very short conversation on which venue we wanted. As we drove home we emailed Wilson's and told them we wanted them to host our wedding.

The venue is breathtaking! The photos online DO NOT do it justice. Trust me - you have to see the venue for yourself.

During the process Wilson's was also very prompt in responding to any questions that we had. We also had a wedding planner on top of Sandra and Robin (who by the way are amazing). Sandra is OCD in a good way - she wants to make sure that everything is perfect for you and runs smoothly. You want someone like Sandra on your side the day of the wedding because you don't want to have to worry about anything.

We used the whole property for the wedding. Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Dancing Outside. Dinner/Speeches Inside the Barn. The guests were beyond amazed at how beautiful the ceremony was and said it looked like something you would find in a fairytale.

Picking a venue was tiring since we did it all in one weekend, but it was the easiest decision we made in the wedding planning process and we couldn't be happier.

I wish I knew where to begin. Sandy Wilson is absolutely amazing and knows how to pull an gorgeous event together.

My fiance and I came here to look for a venue for our wedding. This was the one and only place we looked at. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There's a modernized barn, bride & groom rooms, a gazebo and water way alongside. The grounds are always beautiful and well maintained.

Sandy knows what she is doing. Your vendors might think there are a lot of rules about this place, but they are there for a reason, and Sandy knows from experience. Sandy is quick to answer phone calls and e-mails, has an answer for every question, she is absolutely great!

BRIDES! PLEASE I beg of you, go with the preferred vendors list if not for all vendors you choose, but for at least the caterer. If a caterer messes up just once she does not allow them on property again. The vendors that are on that list are on that list for a reason! The day of my wedding my caterer did not show up until dinner service should have started, when they were suppose to be there three hours prior and should have set up all the rentals. Sandy set up all our tablecloths and basically everything our caterer should have done. She made sure our officiant, dj, photographer, everyone knew what was going on and when it was supposed to happen. Our wedding day was beautiful and so organized because of Sandy Wilson, the beautiful grounds, and her amazing staff!

Wilson vineyards is a gorgeous venue and was exactly what we had in mind for our wedding. The scenery is beautiful there as well! The staff was so nice and made the mood of our wedding even more fun! The almond champagne is a must, it is out of this world deliscious! Sandra was organized and did everything I asked and would return calls promptly to answer questions for me! The day of the even everything ran smoothly and we loved spending our special day out there! The breeze was perfect and it made for a great summer night wedding!!!

Truly a gorgeous backdrop for our "country chic" wedding. The wine is delicious, especially the almond champagne! The location provides privacy and seclusion, yet not too far from the downtown Sacramento! Sandy Wilson is incredibly warm and welcoming to her family property and was always quick to respond and offer a helping hand with any and all details. She was the first to greet us with champagne and even helped me to the restroom in my dress! She worked closely with our vendors to ensure that nothing was missed and provided her valuable experience and insight on all things wedding! The bride and groom suites provide a perfect escape, as well as air conditioned relief! This venue is a spectacular "blank slate" for whatever your wedding visions may be, but the converted dairy barn and vineyards offer the perfect indoor/outdoor setting for any occasion.

The venue is beautiful.. But the owner is very rude.
