McConnell Estates Winery is a beautiful family-owned winery and wedding venue filled with historic charm and simple elegance in Elk Grove, California. Our picturesque vineyards and idyllic barn venue are the perfect location to say, "I do". We offer a gorgeous lawn ceremony area with a captivating vineyard backdrop, charming bride and groom suites, and delectable estate-grown wines. We have a variety of packages to accommodate your special wedding day and are now booking for 2023 and 2024. We hope you consider McConnell Estates to celebrate your big day!
Located in Elk Grove, CA, just 15 minutes south of Sacramento, McConnell Estates has been owned and operated by the Wackman family for five generations. Built more than 100 years ago, our unique venue is perfect for couples who want to experience the gorgeous Sacramento Valley Wine Country.

Incredible night!
My husband and I just got married at McConnell Winery and it was a dream! Best night of our lives, hands down. Halie, the venue coordinator, was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Our wedding here was amazing!
Our wedding at McConnell estates was so amazing. The venue is so naturally beautiful we didn’t have to do much decor wise & the staff are so great. Our coordinator Jenna was so helpful in making sure our day ran smooth & the bartenders were so nice. I highly recommend them!

Amazingly Beautiful Venue and Experience
McConnell Estates Winery was the most beautiful and perfect venue for my husband and I! We got married in September and the vineyards were full and beautiful. All throughout the venue were so many beautiful places for photos. The entire venue from the bridal suite, groomsmen suite, ceremony area, cocktail are, and the barn for the reception was stunning.
We booked the venue quite early due to the pandemic and Halie helped us throughout the entire year and a half leading up to the big day. She was super responsive and always had the answers or would get them in a timely fashion. The venue was flexible with allowing us to bring up decorations the day before at the designated rehearsal time.
We got to try the wines prior to the wedding day and Halie allowed us to flex our choices due to our unique food choices.
All around the venue was beautiful and the staff were great to work with!

McConnell wedding
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding, it was so beautiful that decor didn’t need to be expensive or extravagant, we let the natural beauty of the vineyards and the amazing rustic barn be the show stoppers. Jenna and Halie were INCREDIBLE. They helped our wedding run so smoothly, we really were able to enjoy everything right in the moment without a worry. It was the most perfect night that neither of us nor any of our guests will forget.

Absolutely Amazing!
McConnell Estates was the absolute best venue for wedding. They were flexible and easy to work with. They were realizable and we didn’t have to stress or worry about the possibility of cancellations due to COVID-19. Not to mention the venue was absolutely gorgeous for both our ceremony and reception.

Wedding Dream 😍
Loved having our wedding at McConnell! Halie & the whole staff were absolutely incredible to work with & made our day perfect. Outside of that our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was!!! All my wedding dreams came true. 100000% recommend to anyone!

Beautiful Outdoor, Rustic Winery Wedding!
McConnell Estates Winery was not only the most beautiful location for our Fall wedding, but also has the most incredible staff and delicious wine. The staff was perfect and helped make our planning super easy and the day of absolutely gorgeous! The cost was completely reasonable considering we had an open bar with wine, sangria and beer, and a large outdoor setting for the ceremony and reception. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with all things considered this year (Covid-19 and the CA fires/smoke).

This is the start of McConnell Estates Winery first annual elopement weekend! You get the feel and look or a vineyard wedding without the cost.
Have you heard "I wish we had eloped" from friends or family? Intimate weddings are trending and we see why. The intentional choice to focus on your love and let the expenses and societal pressure go, can be freeing.
Our flat fee of $1,100 covers bride & groom and 20 of your closest guests, 2 hours at our venue, the alter, seating, venue decor, day of coordinator, parking staff, and a complimentary glass of wine for each of your guests. Extra guests available to add on, with 40 total maximum.
