We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding with Sarah. She's an amazing woman and her team kept the flow of our day going at great speed! She had a great eye for detail, complemented us as a couple, and everyone in our family loved her. She fit right in and our photos were just incredible because we were feeling exactly like ourselves.

If you are getting married within a 3-5 hour radius from Sacramento, CA, you are cheating yourself if you don't give Sarah Maren a call. She is an absolute blast, and above all, she is the most talented photographer I've ever encountered. Sarah and her husband went out of their way (and by "out of the way," I mean trekking through the Redwoods after a 5+ hour drive) to make our day special, and she captured every single beautiful moment we shared in an unexplainably magical way. Sarah Maren doesn't see the world as the rest of us do, and her photos give you a glimpse into her genius with every shot. I encourage everyone to (at the very least) consider contacting Sarah Maren for your photography needs because Sarah's photos are timeless and absolutely priceless. After seeing the photos Sarah captured on our wedding day, I would have paid her twice the amount that we paid because that is how perfect her photos were. The photos have awed our family and friends, and people can't look at the pictures without crying because Sarah captured the emotions of that day, and that's something not every photographer can do. Sarah and her husband are hilarious and down-to-Earth which makes them so easy to work with, and it takes the awkwardness out of taking pictures. I met Sarah briefly through a mutual friend a couple of years ago and felt an instant connection, so when our daughter announced plans to marry, Sarah was the first photographer we thought to ask to photograph her wedding.

At our first meeting with Sarah, I was impressed with her thorough knowledge of all things wedding and how at ease she made us feel about the entire process which was so comforting since the wedding was in two months!!!

Honestly, what was the most striking was her humility. At the end of our meeting her words to us were, "If you choose us to capture this event...." I remember thinking, seriously, "If", I didn't need to think about it at all but she allowed me to walk out the door with out any commitment to her. I had seen Sarah's work on her website and was well aware of her talent, so to be treated with such honor and respect showed me her character and how much she just thoroughly enjoys what she does.

The engagement and wedding pictures are stunning. Sarah captured everything about our daughter and son-in-law that represents exactly who they are as a couple. At the end of the wedding and editing of the pictures, we feel as though we have a new friend. She truly cares and had a presence that put all of us at ease. My best advice to any one that hires Sarah to capture those special moments, " Allow Sarah to do what she obviously gifted and talented to do. You will not be disappointed."
