  More than just a photographer!

  We could not have asked for a better photographer for our wedding with Sarah. She's an amazing woman and her team kept the flow of our day going at great speed! She had a great eye for detail, complemented us as a couple, and everyone in our family loved her. She fit right in and our photos were just incredible because we were feeling exactly like ourselves.

  If you are getting married within a 3-5 hour radius from Sacramento, CA, you are cheating yourself if you don't give Sarah Maren a call. She is an absolute blast, and above all, she is the most talented photographer I've ever encountered. Sarah and her husband went out of their way (and by "out of the way," I mean trekking through the Redwoods after a 5+ hour drive) to make our day special, and she captured every single beautiful moment we shared in an unexplainably magical way. Sarah Maren doesn't see the world as the rest of us do, and her photos give you a glimpse into her genius with every shot. I encourage everyone to (at the very least) consider contacting Sarah Maren for your photography needs because Sarah's photos are timeless and absolutely priceless. After seeing the photos Sarah captured on our wedding day, I would have paid her twice the amount that we paid because that is how perfect her photos were. The photos have awed our family and friends, and people can't look at the pictures without crying because Sarah captured the emotions of that day, and that's something not every photographer can do. Sarah and her husband are hilarious and down-to-Earth which makes them so easy to work with, and it takes the awkwardness out of taking pictures. Sarah doesn't make moments happen; she lets them happen organically, and she captures it. Before you call anyone else, check out Sarah's website/blog and see for yourself!

  I met Sarah briefly through a mutual friend a couple of years ago and felt an instant connection, so when our daughter announced plans to marry, Sarah was the first photographer we thought to ask to photograph her wedding.
  
  At our first meeting with Sarah, I was impressed with her thorough knowledge of all things wedding and how at ease she made us feel about the entire process which was so comforting since the wedding was in two months!!!
  
  Honestly, what was the most striking was her humility. At the end of our meeting her words to us were, "If you choose us to capture this event...." I remember thinking, seriously, "If", I didn't need to think about it at all but she allowed me to walk out the door with out any commitment to her. I had seen Sarah's work on her website and was well aware of her talent, so to be treated with such honor and respect showed me her character and how much she just thoroughly enjoys what she does.
  
  The engagement and wedding pictures are stunning. Sarah captured everything about our daughter and son-in-law that represents exactly who they are as a couple. At the end of the wedding and editing of the pictures, we feel as though we have a new friend. She truly cares and had a presence that put all of us at ease. My best advice to any one that hires Sarah to capture those special moments, " Allow Sarah to do what she obviously gifted and talented to do. You will not be disappointed."

  Our experience with Sarah Maren Photographers was extremely positive. To be blunt, it was flat out awesome! Sarah and Dustin are two talented and fun photographers. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out so good! So much emotion was captured in our wedding photos that we have no regrets about not hiring a videographer. They made us feel so comfortable when taking our photos too. My husband and I are so grateful that we can relive our wedding day through our pictures. We highly recommend Sarah Maren Photographers!

  I can't even begin to say how much I adored Sarah and Dustin. I was so taken with Sarah and her images after my boudoir session with her that I planned my entire wedding around her schedule. She was my #1 priority. They are an incredible couple. Funny, friendly, and so SO talented. I cried more looking at the beautiful pictures that they gave me than I did at my actual wedding! They are absolutely phenomenal. Even my guests fell in love with them, and my best friend hired them for her wedding! Can't recommend them enough!

  I highly recommend Sarah Maren for wedding photography! Our experience was seamless and we loved the outcome of both the engagement and wedding pictures. Her and her husband make you feel very comfortable and even if you don't feel natural your pictures will turn out looking like you guys were born to be models! Sarah even broke her arm the day before our wedding, she had a photographer friend help with no additional charge, so we got 3! Sarah didnt even skip a beat despite a huge cast on her good arm, all the pictures were taken and edited just as great as they could be! I've referred to other friends as well already and can't say enough great things!

  Words can not describe the duo that is Sarah Maren Photography!! When my husband and I first met them we instantly felt like we had known them for years!! The take pride in their work and it really shows!!! I would never think about having another photographer take any of my photos. The quality of theirs is unreal!!   Sarah Maren (and her husband/second photographer Dustin) are in one word, AMAZING.
  
  We first went to Sarah about 10 months before our wedding with a very different wedding in mind. We had decided to forgo the stress, money and excitement that is a 'normal' traditional wedding, and we were planning on having a small ceremony at SF City Hall with a reception at a family member's house. We booked Sarah for this purpose, did a fantastic engagement shoot, and then decided that the wedding we were planning wasn't going to work out the way we wanted. Mid year we completely switched gears and ended up planning a 125 person, fairly 'typical' wedding in Walnut Creek. With a new date. Sarah didnt even flinch- she was so helpful with every aspect of our wedding planning, and truly understood our 'vision'. She responds to every email with compassion and friendliness, and really tries to get to know you as a couple.
  
  On the wedding day itself, my only regret is that we had been able to book Sarah for an extra hour, it felt like our picture time was too short! Sarah and Dustin capture moments that you dont even know happened, and they make them beautiful. I love every image we have seen so far. They are so artistic and truly make photography an art- there is nothing normal or average about Sarah's photos.
  
  She is completely worth the price, and is very comparable to other respected artistic photographers that you will research. Sarah really listens to your style and what you are like as a person- if you want glitz and glamor, she will give it to you. If you want rustic and vintage, it's yours.
  
  I really value Sarah more as a friend now than a wedding vendor and I am confident that when we have kids, Sarah will be the one to help us make our picture memories! Love Sarah and Dustin!

  Sarah Maren is expensive, but SO worth it. We just loved her and everything she did on the day of our wedding. She and her husband Dustin are super cool and easy to talk to - which is definitely something you want on the day of your wedding since they will be around you pretty much all day. =) Seriously - you won't regret having Sarah as your photographer!

  Sarah and Dustin do an amazing job together. Their photos are consistently stunning and they are a pleasure to work with. Sarah has a great casual business attitude which always put us at ease and helped all that love show through in the photos. She is very flexible regarding location, and she worked with me on a payment plan that helped make it through some tight times. Everyone loved both our engagement and wedding photos, and I had several people tell me that they were the best engagement photos they had ever seen. Although Sarah was on the upper end of our price range, I am so happy that we chose her and Dustin to shoot our wedding. Photography was one area we were willing to splurge on because it's all that's left after the wedding, and we get so much joy from reliving that day. We will surely be coming back to Sarah for family photos in the future!

  One of the best compliements we got was "Your pictures made your wedding look nicer than it actually was...no offense." We decided that the one thing we were going to splurge on for the wedding was a photographer since it's the only thing that's forever...we picked the right team. Sarah and Dustin captured our personality absolutely perfectly and we love every single shot they took. They made us feel comfortable, happy and special. We've recommended them to countless people and will continue to do it.
