Hotel Wedding Venues in Monterey

We had our wedding at CVR at the end of September, and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful location. Our ceremony on the hilltop platform was beautiful. Harvest landing for the cocktail hour was a great spot as the sun set, and our reception in the lawn was exactly as we’d hoped. The food was very similar to our tasting day, and guests loved it. Thea was great to work with, and the staff all did a wonderful job. We look forward to returning for anniversaries. In all honesty, we weren’t sure at first of the Hyatt brand for a wedding venue, but it doesn’t feel corporate at all.

From the moment we made contact with the Embassy suites team, they were nothing but courteous, accommodating and willing to help. Our experience has been superb in getting all our wedding details ironed out with Lauren Weaver and her team. From planning to the financials everything in between, it was all crystal clear to us, and if any questions were to come up, they would help us in a heartbeat. The day of the event, we had no worries as Lauren and her team were there for every moment going above and beyond what was hoped for and expected. If you are looking for a venue that is not only beautiful and has all the amenities, but also has super service, look no further, as this team will help you manifest your dreams into a reality.

One thing I really love about this venue is how much the location and building design speak for themselves. Many other venues have your reception in a large room that really is just a conference space. The ballroom at the Hyatt is beautiful with two huge fireplaces and a stunning view. You really don't need to worry too much about decor in a venue this gorgeous. The ceremony deck and its view are absolutely breathtaking. The bridal suite fit my bridal party of 8 and the makeup team perfectly. The only big issue with the venue is the amount of stairs. There is really no way to fully avoid stairs to the ceremony site and the rooms since the hotel was built in the early 1900s. They do have golf carts available for guest use but if you have folks in wheelchairs attending your wedding they may have some difficulty navigating the space. Our guests really enjoyed the food at the venue. We had the Argentinian skirt steak as one of our appetizers and multiple guests came up to me during the wedding to tell us that it was one of the best things they had eaten in a while. Others also really enjoyed the ahi poke appetizer. We truly had the most perfect wedding possible and it was largely in part to the two Emilys at the Hyatt Carmel Highlands Inn. They are absolute rockstars and I would 100% work with them again if I could.

Taylor and all the staff at Seascape were all so friendly and accommodating! We were the videographers for a wedding here and we loved it! The grounds were well kept and the staff treated us great! Would recommend!

On May 4th, 2024, we had our wedding at Chaminade and everything turned out PERFECT! It was the only day that week that we had rain and even that couldn't ruin the day. Lizzie and her team made the entire day effortless and stress free for my husband and I and all our guests. She coordinated the day with our day-of wedding coordinator and both were very hands on in making the transition from ceremony to reception so beautifully. This venue has it all! From the stunning views to providing catering from The View restaurant, which was beyond delicious. Chaminade's accommodations were convenient for our family and friends that included reserving room blocks, access to using the pool, tennis courts, spa, and even has nearby hiking trails. They have a variety of food and beverage packages to choose from to fit anyones budget. Rebecca and Lizzie were there to answer any questions we had and were incredible to work with throughout the wedding process. I would recommend this venue to every couple looking to celebrating their wedding day! Thank you to everyone at Chaminade for making my wedding day so memorable! xoxo The Summers

We stayed at the Dream Inn in June for our wedding night and had a wonderful experience. Before our stay the staff was kind enough to let us tour a couple of different rooms so that we could request the one with the ocean view that we wanted at the time of booking. Our parents arranged for decorations, gifts, and champagne to be delivered to the room before our arrival, and the staff did a great job setting everything up and were very kind and congratulatory on check-in. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to experience the many amenities of the hotel because we only stayed one night. Overall we loved the ocean views and retro vibe and are looking forward to returning for an anniversary!

We can't speak highly enough about our wedding reception at Carmel Valley Lodge! We searched for months for the perfect venue and got so lucky to get in touch with Candace. They are truly a hidden gem. We're not from the area, but it was a seamless planning process. There was so much flexibility in budget, vendors, and style. Our guests were impressed with the atmosphere, the mountain views, and the homey suites. I owe it all to Candace for being very responsive and an expert on the big day. She genuinely cared for our vision to come to life. We would do it all over again!

We had an amazing experience at the Tides! Kelly Frasier was a dream to work with, and just the sweetest ever. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and provided exceptional service, the location is beautiful, the food was AMAZING, and everything was perfect. Literally the best day ever!

The Inn at Del Monte Beach is a fantastic place for a wedding reception. Many of our wedding guests stayed at the Inn, and were very impressed with the guest rooms. The rooftop patio is, in a word gorgeous, and is just the right size--big enough to accommodate 100 plus guests, but not so big that the space feels empty. We had use of the kitchen space and the staff were very helpful. Overall it was a great experience.
