Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 150 guests at this unique property. For your ceremony, you can exchange your vows on our romantic, seaside gazebo in open-air. Your guests will take in panoramic Pacific Ocean views and lush gardens at this unique venue surrounded by glass. For your reception, you can dance the night away in our Yankee Point Room, Surf Room or our Oceanside Ballroom. Our rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows of the Carmel Highlands rocky, ocean cliffs.
Our full-service venue offers each couple a limited day of coordinator to assist with your planning process. We are here to help design, coordinate, and bring your unique vision to life:
Couples can choose from a cocktail reception, a buffet, food stations, or a plated meal. Our experienced culinary team specializes in fresh and sustainably local cuisine, which will create a custom menu just for you. We also offer scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and delicious desserts!
In addition to hosting your wedding, we'd be more than happy to host your rehearsal dinner in our new restaurant, California Market at Pacific’s Edge. This exciting venue features a 870-square-foot deck, a louvered roof and glass-paneled walls with dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean and the Big Sur Coast. Additional events they will host include:

Beautiful venue and delicious food!
The most beautiful wedding venue! Our friends got married here a few years ago and we loved it so much we booked it our own wedding. We had 75 people in the surf room and it was perfect for dinner and dancing. Emily, our point of contact at the venue, was very helpful and kind. She was very responsive (even during busy wedding season) and worked closely with our planner which helped me and my family relax. Not only was there a stunning view and perfect weather, the food was so fresh and by far our favorite part of the evening. We had so much fun and everything went so smoothly! The day after the hotel staff helped pack up all of our supplies and load our truck. We are so happy with our experience :)Sent on 10/07/2019

Very professional, quick responses, highly recommended
Gabi and Emily are very professional and help with our wedding a lot. They helped us with menu tasting, room upgrade, vender orders and setup. Their questionnaire is well organized and go through each details. Gabi was very patient and helped us on guest meals and even kids meal changes one week before wedding. Emily helped us with rehearsal one day before the wedding and opened the dressing room for us early in the morning. Hyatt Carmel's customer service is excellent. The wedding of my dreams
I don’t know where to begin with this review. I planned my wedding sight unseen from Illinois. From my first inquiry to the last glass of wine, my wedding was more beautiful and classy than I could have ever imagined. Gabriella was incredibly responsive and was genuinely excited to respond with each petty email I bugged her with. The pictures do not do this venue justice. (And look how beautiful the pictures are). The level of service we received during our small reception was more than I could have asked for. We were spoiled and doted on. What a perfect place. Hyatt Carmel Highlands' second package is designed for 11-20 people and includes:

• White folding chairs, a Sparkling Toast + Hors d’oeuvres to follow after the ceremony
• An Officiant, plus a Photographer (limited to 2 hours) will capture all the special moments
• Floral Allowance up to $500 for the beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres
• 9-inch Wedding Cake
• Enjoy an Unlimited Libation Package during your event
• A color choice for napkins and floor length linens for the reception
• Special Menu prepared by Hyatt Carmel Highlands Executive Chef

The Intimate Wedding Package costs $650 per person and includes 20 people. The event is limited to 2.5 hours, Monday through Thursdays. Weekends are available within a 45-day booking & Site Fee subject to premium rates. Service Charge & Tax are not included.
