I’m so happy I had Sachiko Yanase as my makeup artist! She really listened to what I wanted and made me feel so comfortable and beautiful. She took her time with everyone and made sure we all looked our best. My makeup lasted the entire day and night, even through all the happy tears and dancing!

Sachiko is quite possibly the sweetest person I have ever met! I was looking for makeup artists who could deal with Asian features and skin tones and she delivered! The wedding package I booked included 10 services (e.g., hair and makeup for 5 people) but we actually ended up using only 8 of the services for myself, my mom, my mother-in-law, and my sister. Sachiko did an amazing job on all of us and also stayed throughout the first look and family portraits to touch up my hair and makeup. She is incredibly warm and truly treated us like family rather than clients!

Sachiko is incredibly talented, accommodating, kind, and an absolute joy to work with! I hired her for my wedding at Oheka Castle, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. She made me look and feel stunning on my special day, enhancing my natural beauty while ensuring I still looked like myself—just the best version of me. Sachiko felt like the most caring older sister who wanted to make you feel and look your best at your wedding. During the trial, Sachiko encouraged me to try a bunch of different hairstyles to make sure I really liked the look - we must've tried at least 10 hairstyles and really was not expecting that! Before the wedding day, I sent her my hair accessories and jewelry for feedback. She was so thoughtful with her recommendations and even asked her stylist friends for their perspective too! On the wedding day, she made my husband's grandma, mother, and sister (who were doing professional H&M for the first time) feel absolutely comfortable and beautiful. The entire day was such a breeze and my hair and makeup on the day of turned out to be even more beautiful than the trial, which I didn't think was possible!!! She is an amazing person on top of being a super talented stylist, and would recommend her to anyone who wants to have the best wedding day ever!

Sachiko is outstanding! This is an updated review post-wedding and if I could give more than 5 stars I totally would. Sachiko arrived right on time to start the day and completed hair and makeup looks for me, my mother-in-law, my mother and my sister. We ran exactly on schedule and she was fabulous with helping my mom and the groom's mother figure out what kind of look to go for. Everyone's "wedding day look" turned out fantastic! I also hired Sachiko for extended hours to follow us around for touchups and throughout the day and she went above and beyond to make sure all of our looks stayed intact, using meticulous details to help make everyone looked amazing through the entire afternoon and evening. We had a small mishap with my veil because the photographers had accidentally made a tear in it while taking pictures and Sachiko came to the rescue with her handy sewing skills! She even helped to patch up my veil so that it wouldn't ruin the mood - you could hardly tell anything even happened to it! And as we were taking photos, Sachiko went above and beyond to fan out my long wedding dress train, helped me move around in my gown easily, and kept my high-maintenance hairstyle looking flawless the entire time. I cannot recommend Sachiko enough - she is truly a wonderful artist, and has an absolutely beautiful soul. You won't regret it if you go with Sachiko for your special day!

Sachiko is exceptionally talented and wonderful to work with!!! She is responsive, accommodating, and sweet, and my makeup turned out PERFECT. Everyone was telling me how beautiful I looked, and I was so happy with the results. Sachiko listened to all my concerns, and she was able deliver the exact makeup style I was looking for. I will definitely hire Sachiko in the future.

Sachiko did a fantastic job on my hair and makeup and made me look and feel so beautiful! I did a trial with her about a 1.5 months before the wedding day. She was patient, listened to my preferences, and made me feel at ease. I don't normally wear any makeup at all and I have sensitive skin. Sachiko ensured me she only uses hypoallergenic products and she helped me achieve a natural look for the photos.

She was there early and ready to go when we got there. We had a tight schedule the morning of but she made it all happen. I highly recommend working with Sachiko!

Sachiko is an incredible makeup artist who not only has amazing skills, but has been here by our side for our wedding planning process. We sought out Sachiko before Covid-19 and our wedding was unfortunately delayed. Nevertheless, Sachiko never left our side and was able to come through on our big day. She not only did an incredible job on the bridal makeup and hair, but for four additional people as well - and very quickly. She took everyones preferences into consideration and had very impressive attention to detail. Everyone had a unique look and our makeup lasted all day. Sachiko is truly skilled and we will definitely love to work with her again in the future!

Sachiko was God sent, she came early to set up for my AM Sunday ceremony and when I say my makeup alongside my MOH and MOTB never looked so good, trust me. Her airbrush technique and makeup is an art form! I'm truly grateful to have found her for such a special day in my life. She made it all look effortlessly soft glam as I requested. I loved that she made all my best facial features shine, I felt so beautiful! (and my makeup lasted well into the after party ~15 hours). She is THAT talented. She was so patient and I trust her with any suggestions she put forth, False lashes, CHECK! More? OK! She accommodated all my requests and is just the sweetest woman ever. I would definitely be requesting her for more makeup and hair do's!

She is a very talented artist! Loved her portfolio (natural/glory) and loved how she did my make-up! She was able to recreate the makeup looks on my Pinterest easily. She took the time to present to me at least 5 hairstyles on our trial day. She also accommodated my request to change my hair for the engagement photoshoot (I went straight to the engagement photoshoot after my trial). She is so sweet, and my family loved her too. I would love to be on her chair again!
