I don't have enough good things to say about Marilyn & Jeremy. They were wonderful on our day of and captured incredible moments (and I've only seen the previews!). Marilyn is INCREDIBLY detail oriented and had a day of timeline down to the minute and it shows in the detail & quality of her photos. She kept us on schedule and really went above and beyond to capture our special day.

Amazing wedding photos
My husband and I used Rising Lotus Photography for our wedding not the Starship Yacht out of Tampa. They took sooooo many beautiful pictures of our day and I could not ask for a better team! Not only did our photos turn out AMAZING, Marilyn was so easy to work with and made us both comfortable through the entire process. She was so understanding of changes, questions I had, meeting with me, etc. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not easy but Marilyn made this piece of our day as seamless as possible. We just ordered some prints from our collection to hang around the house and even the quality of those is top notch!!! She was so interested in our story and the love we shared and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the Bay Area, especially on a Starship Yacht!

Five stars just isn’t enough!
Wow. As I’m trying to write this I’m getting emotional. We truly cannot thank Marilyn and the entire Rising Lotus team enough for all they did for us! Marilyn has a way of making you feel like you are the most important people in the room. From engagement photos, to walking down the aisle, Marilyn and her team perfectly captured our love. Rising Lotus has an eye that cannot be beat! Marilyn kept us informed about each step along the way, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (no small feat), and delivered the most amazing photos that we will cherish for a lifetime! And I haven’t even mentioned our wedding video yet! Over 14 minutes of absolutely stunning shots, that we plan to look back on for years to come. Our wedding video is truly more than we could have ever dreamed of. The whole team did such an amazing job from start to finish!

The most perfect Day
After looking at so many photographers, I thankfully found RLP, and I’m so happy I did. Marilyn (the owner of RLP) is such a beautiful person inside and out. I could go on and on about how wonderful she is. Once you talk with her on the phone you will know. Her work is so creative and beyond beautiful. We are so in love with our engagement session and the few pictures from our wedding (haven’t received them all just yet) She was so wonderful to work with on our wedding day. She was calm and patient when we had a stressful situation. Her work belongs in magazines!! Trust me. Book her!

So Grateful!!!
I had to cancel my March 2020 wedding with 5 days notice (thanks COVID) and have rescheduled multiple times. Marilyn has been the absolute best to work with through the changes!!! She responds quickly, is thoughtful and kind, and has gone above and beyond to work with us! I don’t have photos to rave about yet as the wedding is now March 2022, but I have no doubt they’re going to be fantastic! Highly recommend Rising Lotus Photography!

Gorgeous photos!
I cant recommend Rising Lotus enough! Marilyn was so professional since day 1. She has great communication and becomes a partner and ally with your wedding planning. We saw a sneak peak at some unedited pictures and they are stunning! She is truly talented.

Absolutely stunning!
I feel like my appreciation and admiration for Marilyn and the Rising Lotus team can’t fully come across in an online review. She is an absolute joy to work with! She takes the time to get to know you as a couple and tries to capture what is special about you as individuals and as a couple in her photos. She created a super detailed timeline that helped us get all the photos we wanted in a timely fashion and stay right on track. She’s so kind and thoughtful with a lovely disposition that made spending all day with her fantastic. She knows when to step up and speak out to get the perfect shot while still being mindful of everyone’s needs and desires. Her artistic eye is remarkable and our photos (the ones we’ve received so far) are stunning!!! She is really wonderful at what she does and so diligent, working through the night just to get us our sneak peak. Also, special shout out to her assistant Asha for dealing with our groomsmen, she was a saint. Overall, I can’t be more thankful that we hired Marilyn and Rising Lotus for our wedding day and to look at our photos every single day!!!

Simply Amazing!!
Marilyn did a phenomenal job photographing my wedding! While we haven't received the photos yet (we got married less than a month ago), I can just tell I am going to LOVE them by the previews she sent us. She is such a pleasure to work with, very patient, creative - all the things you look for in a photographer! I truly can't say enough positive things about Marilyn and her team. If I had to do it all over again, I would book Marilyn a million times over!!

If there is one piece of advice I would give a fellow bride, it's LOVE LOVE LOVE your photographer. And man, oh man. Marilyn is the BEST. Seriously. I would have been a hot mess if it hadn't been for her cool and calm head, and gorgeous photos. She's also so sweet, and willing to help out when necessary (like when you have a surprise wedding, and need to send out postcards next day to tell the world). I interviewed many photographers, and I knew from our first call that she was the right person for us - and I was right. THANK YOU MARILYN!!
