Rev. Lesley F. Shannon of the St. Paul Community Baptist Church, provided a fun, inspirational, enlightening wedding ceremony for my husband and me. While he assured everyone in attendance was aware of the seriousness of marriage, he didn’t allow the service to become somber. Instead, he kept all of the guests engaged and involved in the service. One month later, our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed our ceremony, that it was unique and uplifting. Several couples have told me that issues they were having in their relationships were healed in our ceremony when Rev. Shannon said, “If you’re having an issue, attack the issue, not each other.” Amen. To God be the glory!
