We visited so many venues but once I walked into the ballroom at the Ramada I knew it was the one. We wanted a classy evening reception, and the Ramada didn't disappoint. Jenn West went above and beyond in every way possible to keep us calm and plan our special day. She was so much more than our event planner- it was like having a friend by your side every step of the way leading up to your dream wedding day. The food was filling and YUMMY! They were accommodating to all our needs and our guests had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff and the hotel. The only thing I wish... is that we could go back and do it all over again!! THANK YOU!!!

My daughter’s wedding reception was truly spectacular in the Ramada’s Grand Ballroom! Jenn West treated us like family and was on top of every aspect of Katie’s big day! The staff was professional and ready to lend a hand when we needed them. We had many returning Penn State football players as guests, and the food was both delicious and plentiful for these hearty eaters. The wedding party made use of the outdoor pavilion for a relaxed rehearsal dinner, as well as rooms for dressing before the ceremony. The Bridal Suite was the setting for the Bride Tribe to dress for the walk down the aisle. The bride’s father felt this was one of the best days of his life. We owe it all to the experienced team from the Ramada that orchestrated the event! Thank you so much Jenn, you are the best!!

The Ramada provided a BEAUTIFUL atomosphere for our wedding reception. The food was tremendous, and the service was exceptional. I can't say enough good things about the job that the Ramada did. THANK YOU!!!

We worked with Stacy at the Ramada and had a wonderful experience. She was willing to work with us on special requests and we felt completely confident in her abilities. In the week and a half since we have been married, we have received multiple compliments on the professionalism and the service provided by staff members at the Ramada. Additionally, we loved the food. Even the tables that were served last felt their meals were great. The folks at the Ramada let us set up on Friday and when there was a problem with the linens we ordered in (from another company), they worked with us to make sure that the tables still looked fabulous, including putting all new chairs in the dining room so that the chair covers fit. We couldn't have been happier with how our reception turned out!

My fiance and I worked hand and hand with Jennifer for a year leading up to the wedding. She was very attentive to our needs and wants throughout the process. She had a prior engagement that she had to leave town for, but was still able to make it back to our reception because she'd spent soo much time in the planning of the event. We had several day before and day of changes that he staff was able to handle without any issues. The Ramada is a great place to have a reception in State College.

Overall, our wedding reception was amazing! The food buffet was fabulous! We had so much food for people to choose from it was great. The staff was very helpful and the presentation was professional looking. The banquet servers did a great job setting up the room with our rented linens. They even put our pictures, centerpieces, and wedding favors on the tables for us as well. The banquet room was large enough to accommodate our party of a little less than 100 people. Overall, the reception was a great success.
