Rachel took my senior photos way back in 2008. It was such a great experience. Especially as someone who doesn’t love having their picture taken. When I got married in 2021, I knew she was the photographer to go for. Despite scheduling snafus and the pandemic, we were still able to do our engagement shoot while being entirely fogged in on the beach. Rachel rolled with the complications and turned our shoot into something amazing. She captured our wedding day wonderfully, and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend her to anyone looking for any type of shoot. She is amazing to work with and so incredibly talented!

We are so glad we decided to work with Rachel! One thing that made her really great to work with was how approachable and thoughtful she is, a true people person. Some photographers feel like they are in the way, or that their energy is disruptive, but Rachel was able to quickly become trusted with our whole family, putting us all at ease: allowing Rachel to capture some truly candid shots and snap a couple heart warmingly good photos of family members who we can normally never get a good picture of. This is a quality that is a rare find in an event/wedding photographer! She knew how to get the shot! Beyond her personable nature, Rachel was timely, extremely professional, organized, and came with the right gear to get the job done. We highly recommend Rachel for all of these reasons!

From the very beginning it was a complete joy to work with Rachel! We are from MA, but planned a destination wedding up in Maine, so needless to say, we packed as much as we could into every pre-wedding trip up there. One of those trips was relatively last minute, but Rachel still managed to squeeze us in to see her work and look at the various packages. Even through her emails you really get a feel for her excitement and genuine care that she has for each of her clients! She really wants to make sure it's special!

Leading up to the wedding she also kept us up to date with any changes, and made sure she got down all of our wants and needs before the big day. This included getting a list of all the groups of people, portraits, and other shots that we wanted to make sure we got during the chaos of the day.

On our wedding day we were greeted by hugs and smiles as she jumped right in capturing those initial getting ready moments. At times you'd almost forget she was there, moving around and getting what would turn out to be some truly fabulous candids throughout the occasion. These ranged from a smile crossing my grandma's face to meaningful glances and those "workin' it" faces of guests on the dance floor!

Once Rachel posted our initial preview album online we IMMEDIATELY started getting calls from both our families raving about the pictures. The pictures are such worlds apart from the traditional very staged looking wedding pictures. Her work captures emotion and moments and light in a way that just instantly brings you right back to that place in time. Both the candid and "family" photos had the same feel of effortlessness and nostalgia.

I cannot say enough about our experience and the result from our work with Rachel. If we got married again we'd choose her a thousand times over!!

If you are looking for a perfect addition to your wedding I would highly recommend Rachel Bell as your photographer. She is personable, makes you feel comfortable, and takes amazing photographs. She gave us photos of our wedding very shortly after which was really fun! Her photography are not just images of your wedding but pieces of art. I think all her weddings are done uniquely and I never see the same shots. She is truely wonderful to work with and loved the photographs.

Rachel made our wedding day feel so special. Her and her husband were so funny and they really made us feel so comfortable and so relaxed through out the whole day. We will never forget when Her husband and my husband danced together during the wedding and when we took pictures with our 69 Chevelle. Oh the funny comments we all had. ; ) It was truely a memorable day. A Beautiful day, beautiful pictures, and a beautiful amazing photographer. Rachel truely has a gift, she is such a sweet heart and really just a great person. Every photo i have ever seen her take is so breath taking. I cant say enough good things about her or her work. 2 years later and we still look at our wedding pictures every day. Love you Rachel!

Rachel is an amazing photographer! We LOVED our wedding pictures and there would be no possible way to narrow down a favorite from all that she took. She is very professional and very personable all at the same time which is exactly what you want for such an important and stressful day! I would recommend her to anyone and hope to have her do our family photos in the future! :)

Rachel is one of the most wonderful people I have ever had the joy of meeting. She captured every heartfelt/silly/serious/spontaneous moment of our wedding in perfect detail. Her husband also took some of the pictures, so she could provide us with several angles of the same moment (no additional charge for the extra photographer!). She is highly professional, yet she's so much fun to be around, you forget she even has a camera. Did I mention her pictures are amazing? She took the time before our wedding to really get to know us and find out what we really wanted our wedding pictures and our album to look like, and she far exceeded my expectations. I am still blown away when I look at my album. I can not recommend her highly enough.

Rachel was so easy to work with from the very beginning. She was always responsive leading up to the wedding and was extremely flexible with plans for travel, etc. on the day of the wedding. She made me completely comfortable and was so much fun to have at the wedding. The photos she took are outstanding and her packages, which can include albums or not, are very reasonably priced. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and will use her for any future photo needs I might have.

Rachel was fantastic! We met with 5 photographers before we found Rachel. We just clicked with her personality and her photos were exactly what we were looking for.

Rachel and the 2nd professional photographer arrived about 2 hours prior to the start of the ceremony. This was approximately the same time that everything started to go wrong (my bridesmaid couldn't find her dress, my cousin couldn't find his pants, my mothers zipper broke in her dress & it started to rain so we had to get everything moved inside). Rachel had such a wonderful presence - very calming. She made it so that we could still take our photos outside. She wasn't pushy or in a rush. She fit in quite well with our whole wedding party, family and guests.

By the end of the night we pulled them onto the dance floor and they stayed and danced with us enjoying the party! We have gotten a sneak peak of our photos within a week of the wedding and they are so wonderful! I can't wait to get them all back (we should have them next week!)
