Rabbi Oren was an amazing guide for us into Jewish Married life. He took the time to really get to know us, and understand our relationship. He gave us a magical ceremony - a true high point of our life, and our guests were as amazed as us. We really enjoyed working with him, and exploring these new life areas. He is great at explaining things, making sure the answers make sense, and making a wedding ceremony that is special and unique to who we were as a couple Amazing, thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of Rabbi Postrel's services. He is kind, intelligent and thoughtful and dedicated to creating a rich and meaningful service for all of his clients. What you see in his pictures is what you get… a kind smile and someone sharing in your joy.

I was impressed not only with his service on the wedding day, but in his connection with his clients in advance of the event and afterward. He stays after the service to connect with the families (sometimes even joining in the dinner celebrations), which is especially thoughtful for groups where guests are from outside the region. It is a comfort for families to have the rabbi be an integral part of the day.

And on a side note… Rabbi Postrel is one spiffy dresser! He'll fit in beautifully at the most elegant events.

Rabbi Oren Postrel made my wedding warm, personal and meaningful. I had known Rabbi Oren for years but my husband-to-be did not know him, so we had several meetings in advance of the wedding. Rabbi Oren created a service that was especially personal and inclusive of all the people in our extended family. He brought a warmth and sense of humor to all the proceedings, and was available to us as our spiritual counselor even in matters dealing with stress and difficulty with family members (which often comes up around these big life events!). I cannot imagine going through any major life passage without the support of Rabbi Oren, he is a treasured friend.

We used Rabbi Oren Postrel for our wedding 8/24/2014. We lived in Colorado and found him on Wedding Wire and we were Married at the Ritz Half Moon Bay, CA. He made our day amazing! Starting from the beginning we had talked to many Rabbi's on the phone and they basically sent us a script they used at every wedding. Rabbi Postrel was very different. The moment I talked to him on the phone I felt comfortable, like he understood me and like he was the only one who made it about US! Before we even met, he called and talked to my (now) husband and I about our views on Judaism and what Judaism meant to us and how we wanted to incorporate it into our wedding. We took some ideas from a great book called "The New Jewish Wedding" and he understood everything we were talking about. Next, we flew out to do venue visits and he met us in San Francisco. We talked about everything from how we met to family members and of course talked about what we wanted in our ceremony. After returning to Colorado we continued to get emails and calls every so often just checking in on how we were doing and to discuss more ceremony details. I have to admit my husband and I were not the best at keeping in touch due to being so busy wedding planning, but he never gave up on us and made sure he got what he needed for our ceremony to be us and be perfect! He reassured us that the day of the wedding, once he got there, it was my job to just relax and that any drama that came up or anything that happened he would be there and take care of it. Our ceremony was GORGEOUS! He said the most amazing words, incorporated everything we had asked for and came up with his own beautiful words. He included the perfect amount of hebrew and included the perfect amount of explanation for our non-Jewish guests. He was not over bearing one bit and did not try to be overly funny as I have seen at many Jewish weddings--it seems to become the "Rabbi show", this is NOT the case for Rabbi Postrel. We could not be happier!

Rabbi Postrel married us at my father's home in San Francisco. It was a bit complicated as my husband is Italian and Catholic, and we live in New York. My husband spoke little English, but Rabbi Postrel was able to make our wedding a traditional Jewish wedding that was beautiful and moving for everyone- including non English speakers and non jews. I would highly recommend him!

Rabbi Oren Postrel is the best! We met multiple times before the wedding which helped us bond and prepare emotionally and spiritually. Oren wrote vows for us that were both beautiful and meaningful. He is a delightful person and an excellent performer.
