When my fiancé and I first got engaged, the very first thing we knew was that we wanted a smaller wedding (50 people or less). We found our intimate venue and were so excited to start the planning process with the ladies of QED. In my previous life, I worked in the event industry and had worked with Chrissy and her team professionally. I knew that their team had vision and experience. Then 2020 happened and COVID had different plans. After months of waiting it out, we made the decision to minimize our guest count (just 2 months before our wedding day) and landed on having a total of 16 of us at our wedding in order to be compliant with our states laws. Throughout the entire process of shifting our wedding, QED was there making sure nothing was forgotten about. Bringing our guest count down gave us the ability to go all out on the table scape design, florals, the food, etc. I cannot say it enough: small wedding are the way to go! My fiancé and I didn't have to compromise on anything, we designed the wedding day of our dreams, and were still able to be way under budget with the help of Chrissy and her team. The entire day was relaxing and an absolute blast. We were able to solely focus on spend quality time with each other and with every single one of our guests because Chrissy and her team took care of all the details throughout the day. We spent the whole day eating, drinking, and dancing into the wee hours of the night! Apparently there were a few small hiccups throughout the day that my fiancé and I didn't even learn about till after the wedding because the QED ladies had it handled and fixed before we were the wiser. Regardless of the size of your wedding, I would definitely suggest hiring professionals to help make your day as stress free as possible! We are so happy that we decided to hire QED for planning, coordinating, florals, and design.
