I tasked Martha with a neutral fall color palette and specific ideas for the bloom design we wanted on the trellis, then left the execution completely up to her. We were pleasantly blown away by the quality of our flowers and how beautifully they complemented our wedding party, the venue, and the backdrop! Martha made my wedding floral dreams come true! We knew she would be awesome after our first few conversations, so we also hired her to do our rehearsal dinner/welcome party arrangements, too. For the rehearsal dinner/welcome party, she took my mother in law's inspiration and perfectly executed. For the wedding, I really wanted floral columns that I had found on Pinterest. Martha loved the idea, supported my creativity, and made them even better than I could have imagined. Our floral garlands, bouquets, and extra arrangements all matched our theme and were stunning. If you are having a wedding in Truckee I wouldn't think twice about booking Martha for your wedding. She creates beautiful lush flower arrangements. I told her about our vision and she was able to capture it and beyond. She is very busy, but is great and letting you know when she would be in touch about things. I talked to Martha far in advanced to the wedding about my flowers, and finalized them about two weeks before. She is super creative - we came up with a hanging wreath of candles, greenery and dreamy white flowers above the bridal table, this idea also came into play into the entrance of the dining area, and above the guest book table, so romantic! I couldn't get enough of our wedding flowers.

Book Martha. No, seriously, stop reading and do it now. I don't care what flowers you need, she's got your back and then some. We hired Martha to do the flowers for our destination Truckee wedding and all that entailed. In total she provided flower arrangements for the dress rehearsal dinner (4 tables with 2 different themes), cocktail hour (about 6 high tops), every miscellaneous table in the reception tent (cake, bar, sign in, etc), flower petals for the aisles, flower petals for the flower girls, the ceremony arbor, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 parental boutonnières, and boutonnières for the groom and 4 groomsmen.

She is an absolute dream to work with. Similar to what one of the other posters mentioned, it was a little difficult to make initial contact. However, I was warned ahead of time that she's really busy during wedding season. Most flowers are not ordered until about 10 days prior to your wedding. Her job includes some initial up-front prep, confirming a couple times (brides are accustomed to change their minds), then a mad crazy rush to the "finish line." She has a separate workshop from her office and might not hear the phone ring. Leave a message via email and be patient. She is definitely worth the wait. When I reviewed my vendor list with my venue and I mentioned Martha was my florist, the catering manager was visibly relieved and stated that she is the best florist in Tahoe and I was going to be well taken care of. (She does more than weddings but like I said, she's the best and has a busy schedule.) He didn't lie.

When we met over the phone we discussed everything I knew I wanted 7 months prior: color schemes, flowers I liked, etc. I sent her a link to my Pinterest boards and then selected some of the favorites to narrow it down. With minimal direction from me (I like pretty flowers but I am definitely NOT a florist), she surpassed every expectation and dream I never knew I had.

Martha did our flowers for our July wedding and we couldn't have envisioned them being more beautiful. We were able to send her pictures and add her on pinterest to be clear on what we wanted and they were perfect. She was easy to work with and accommodating when certain numbers changed throughout the process. They were literally a dream and exactly what we wanted.

Martha is such a talented woman! My husband and I were married at the West Shore Café on June 12th 2015 and we hired Martha to do all our florals. We couldn’t be happier with the results!

Martha is a truly talented woman! She did the flowers for our wedding on June 28, 2014 at the Gatekeeper's Museum in Tahoe City. We had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted for our flowers, and Martha executed our vision perfectly! She also had great recommendations and was even able to get peonies at the end of the season -- I desperately wanted peonies to be in the arrangements and she made it happen! I never once worried about how our flowers would turn out as Martha is extraordinarily talented.

In addition to her talent, Martha is so easy to work with. Her kind, patient demeanor is just what you need when you're planning a wedding. She responded to emails quickly and was always available for meetings when we were in Tahoe, as we were planning a destination wedding.

Our son was married on June 7 at Tahoe Donner, which was a destination wedding, so everything had to be handled long distance. Martha came highly recommended and we arranged for her services via telephone and email. The bride and groom met with Martha in March to discuss the flowers and to give her pictures of what they had in mind.

On the day of the wedding, Martha was on-site supervising the installment of the flowers on the arch and delivering the bouquets and other flowers. The flowers were outstanding -- exactly what the bride and groom wanted and more! We were so pleased and received many, many compliments on the flowers.

Martha was very responsive to my ever changing mind. Through all of the changes that were made along the way. She delivered exactly what I was hoping for. With the weather being much warmer than usual this past winter, peonies were not very plentiful. And somehow, she managed to deliver the peonies that I had dreamed of. From the bouquets, to the centerpieces, and most especially the flowers for my mother's remembrance. It was perfect. I highly recommend Martha, she is professional and responsive.
