Incredible florals - set the tone for the entire day
Katy and her team did our florals for our wedding a few weeks ago. The arrangements were incredible, and Katy and her team were amazing to work with!
-Katy used a custom vision board to develop and overall look-and-feel for what we wanted to do. We didn't have strong opinions at the beginning of the process, but instead gave her a couple of ideas. She took them and ran with them, coming back with some incredibly creative and beautiful ideas for our day.
-She was amazingly flexible and thoughtful on the day of the event. I told her the wrong number of bridesmaids (one more than bouquets she created, which was a huge miss on my part), and she made another bridesmaid bouquet ON THE SPOT. Absolutely incredible. She also made corsage wristlets for the moms (which we hadn't discussed - she just made them organically!) and one of our favorite photos from the wedding are the moms admiring their corsages together. Such a special moment, made possible by Katy and her team!
-I deconstructed one of the bouquets after the event, and my mind was absolutely blown by the incredible construction of the bouquets. Literally it looked like she and her team went to school for architecture, and none of it was visible to the naked eye. The internal structures of ribbons and wires were just so impressive. This is real craftsmanship - I had no idea how complex bouquets could be!
-My parents wanted to use the florals for the brunch the day after. Katy came back the next day to set them all up for the brunch, then she took them to donate to elderly care facilities and hospitals. I was so thrilled that they would get a third life after our event, and it was really nice of Katy and her team to come back a second day to set them up again.
Honestly, when we started planning our wedding, the florals were NOT something that was super important to us. However, when I saw what she had put together on the day of the event, I did a 180. The florals were absolutely stunning, with a color palette and collection of botanicals that really set an incredible tone for the entire day. I dried some of the rose petals and took some of the already dried parts of the arrangements home because I wanted to keep the florals forever - they were so pretty, and so meaningful for us on that day.
Thank you guys again - really amazing work. You made our day so so special!
