I can't imagine a better caterer. We had an atypical wedding starting with Chinese food that they showed flexibility about getting traditional dishes along with dishes to cater to vegans or vegetarians or people with special needs. Afterwards we have Mexican snacks. We continued with donuts and ice cream with a variety of personal drinks. We changed a few things at the tasting and they never blinked, there was never food missing, they were gracious and smiling. If we were high maintenance, they never let on and our guests were treated beyond what we could have imagined with delicious food. Guests are still sending us message about it.

We are so happy that we used Primizie for our wedding last weekend!! We got so many compliments on the food and service! They worked with us on a difficult venue, Laguna Gloria, and pulled it off perfectly. I can't say enough good things about Emily Horvath- my planner alerted me to a few of the tricks caterers use to get more money from you and she was so open and honest about everything and helped me design a delicious menu around our budget. She gave me great advice on where I could skimp (e.g. plastic cups for an outdoor wedding vs. glass) and where I shouldn't (e.g. bar service), and she handled our rentals order for us as well without charging the overhead other vendors do. She was on top of it the whole time and talked to me for hours throughout the planning to make sure I understood and was happy with every detail since I wanted to get into details. I see other reviews saying she didn't get back to people- she is quite busy and I didn't experience this issue but I would say stick with it they are worth it. At the day of the event we even had her there pouring wine and serving and working hard- I couldn't believe it! I would say the catering and rentals she handled for us was one of the smoothest vendor parts of our wedding. Use Primizie you won't regret it!

We hired Primizie as our Wedding Caterer. I can't say enough about how delicious the food is, how accommodating they are and how excellent the staff is. We had such a wonderful experience working with them. I can't tell you how many rave reviews we have gotten on our wedding food. There were a number of chefs and hospitality industry folks attending our wedding and the food was very impressive to all guests. Primizie even set up a beautiful table for two in the bridal suite for us to enjoy our meal (as you know most couples don't get to eat at their own weddings). Also a freak arctic blast blew in for our wedding, the staff did an amazing job at moving everything under cover and creating a warm and intimate setting for our ceremony where our guests could keep warm. There were no issues that day and everything was executed beautifully. I highly recommend Primizie Catering.

Primizie catered our wedding of 160 people with efficiency, professionalism, and a stress on deliciousness, and we could not have been more pleased!! The food was amazing - We loved every bite we took! And we kept hearing from our guests: "This food is incredible - It's food I would get in an expensive restaurant, not be served at a wedding!" AND "Best wedding food I've ever had!"

They were creative and innovative, with unique ideas that really set them apart from other companies we met with. Emily brought food for at least 10 people to the tasting. It was all cooked to perfection the way it would be on the day of the wedding and we feasted the night of the tasting and for a couple of days after with the leftovers.

All the food is prepared on site, so it was all incredibly fresh.

We (bride and groom) had fully prepared plates delivered to us as soon as we arrived at our table (which we didn't eat much of because of the excitement. Not to worry though - they had made up a whole bundle of food for us and put it in our exit car. We stopped down the road and ate it all!

After sitting with 3 other catering companies, we chose Primizie because of the quality of presentation and ingredients. We decided to do a buffet but wanted the experience of the guests to be one of a beautiful event and did not want to have traditional "buffet" feel and sterno's etc..Emily had catered a friend of our's wedding the Fall before and we had seen the lovely slate pieces, glass bowls, wooden boxes, flowers, etc. that she used to build a beautiful buffet presentation. I am in the wine and food business and see these done very frequently. This was very tasteful and very bright/balanced.

The other selling point, for certain, was the food, of course. Emily and her husband created a menu for us based on some specific requests we had about Italian food (I lived in Italy and wanted to have authentic food) but wanted to use some local Texas ingredients (fresh peaches, pecans, rosemary). They accommodated all our wishes and even made special provisions for our vegetarian guests and guests with other dietary needs.

When our crowd, full of wine importers, chefs, and foodies kept walking up to me saying "wow, the food is so good, " I knew not only were we happy but everyone was really happy.

When my wife said to me "We have to have the Pork; we can stop looking for caterers." after our first catering appointment, I knew we were likely going to choose them no matter who we visited.

Last thing-details. The meyer lemons she used on the grilled veggies and that she ordered to be used in our cocktails, fantastic. And, she went above and beyond to stay in our budget and still create a savory, memorable dinner.

I do not even know where to start.....I could write a 1000 page novel on how amazing Primizie is!! Amy & Emily were there for me every step of the way, I am pretty sure I sent Amy a email every week for a year with different questions or concerns and she helped me every single time. On my wedding day Emily and her staff handled every single issue and made my speical day nothing short of amazing!!! Our cocktail hour and food was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced, and I would consider myself a huge foodie. I never once wanted or needed for a single thing on my wedding day. I always had a full glass of wine and was very happy. They really made everything so wonderful, they even had us togo food in our cabin waiting on us when the wedding was over. I would recommend Primizie to anyone and everyone looking for a caterer.

I introduced my clients to Primizie for their March 2013 wedding because I had used them in the past and never been disappointed. The couple was from New York and having a destination wedding outside of Austin, so they were relying on my recommendations.

My bride and groom still met with a few other caterers, but Amy and her team at Primizie were able to provide the food, service and quality my clients wanted and deserved for their wedding. They were so impressed, we hired Primizie to not only cater the wedding, but the rehearsal dinner as well. They were able to deliver a delicious, authentic Mexican dinner for the RD, and a Wild Game Texas dinner for the wedding, which everyone raved about. The food was absolutely delicious both nights, and the service from Amy and her team was beyond wonderful.

I have always loved Primizie's food, but what really stood out for me at this wedding was the service. When I got busy with the rehearsal and was short-handed, Amy's team stepped in and helped decorate giant trees around the rehearsal dinner venue with paper lanterns and pom poms the bride had provided. You can imagine my surprise when I returned from the rehearsal to see what her team had accomplished, it really showed the character of not only Amy but her team as well.

I really can't thank Amy and everyone at Primizie enough for having such a huge role in making my client's wedding memorable!

When we were planning, we had a lot of anxiety about the food. My husband is a vegetarian and we wanted to be sure that we had great food that he could enjoy, but would also be enjoyed by our guests. Primizie delivered that, with a reasonable price, and our food was one of the most complimented things at our wedding.

Amy was a lifesaver, in planning and just general knowledge of vendors in the area. I couldn't be happier with the help she provided.

Events by Emily was simply awesome. (They are about to take over Primize and start using the Primize name as well) We started talking to Emily in spring of 2011 when we first started planning. But we were all over the place. We knew we really liked her and she was so much more accommodating than anyone else we talked with. We ended up moving our date before we booked her and still were dragging our feet about things. But she was always super helpful.

Soooo once we were booked and as we got closer to our wedding she was still super easy to work with despite us changing our mind what seemed like 50 times about everything up until the week before. :) She also isn't out to price gouge you. Her food prices seemed reasonable, she isn't trying to make big marks up on any rentals she gets for you like silverware & glasses, her staff prices seemed reasonable in comparison to the other places we talked with. And for us the big thing was not being stuck to a list of 20 entrees that had preset options like some caterers we talked with.

Our wedding has now finally come and gone and everything was simply wonderful. Everyone loved the food, she was able to accommodate last minute additions of some gluten free folks by subbing rice for the pasta. Her staff was always making sure Dan & I had food, beverages, etc. They were right there when I had a question and a few times I ran to the changing room to grab things as we were getting ready to sit for dinner and they were all keeping an eye on me. Everyone has been telling me how wonderful her staff was. We picked out 2 classic cocktails the week before without time to try them. And they were awesomeeee. People said they were best French75s they've had in town. All weekend the family was asking if we brought home the extra food from dinner because they wanted some more of it. How often do you hear that about wedding food? haha
