  I can't imagine a better caterer. We had an atypical wedding starting with Chinese food that they showed flexibility about getting traditional dishes along with dishes to cater to vegans or vegetarians or people with special needs. Afterwards we have Mexican snacks. We continued with donuts and ice cream with a variety of personal drinks. We changed a few things at the tasting and they never blinked, there was never food missing, they were gracious and smiling. If we were high maintenance, they never let on and our guests were treated beyond what we could have imagined with delicious food. Guests are still sending us message about it.

  We are so happy that we used Primizie for our wedding last weekend!! We got so many compliments on the food and service! They worked with us on a difficult venue, Laguna Gloria, and pulled it off perfectly. I can't say enough good things about Emily Horvath- my planner alerted me to a few of the tricks caterers use to get more money from you and she was so open and honest about everything and helped me design a delicious menu around our budget. She gave me great advice on where I could skimp (e.g. plastic cups for an outdoor wedding vs. glass) and where I shouldn't (e.g. bar service), and she handled our rentals order for us as... She was on top of it the whole time and talked to me for hours throughout the planning to make sure I understood and was happy with every detail since I wanted to get into details. I see other reviews saying she didn't get back to people- she is quite busy and I didn't experience this issue but I would say stick with it they are worth it. At the day of the event we even had her there pouring wine and serving and working hard- I couldn't believe it! I would say the catering and rentals she handled for us was one of the smoothest vendor parts of our wedding. Use Primizie you won't regret it!

  We hired Primizie as our Wedding Caterer. I can't say enough about how delicious the food is, how accommodating they are and how excellent the staff is. We had such a wonderful experience working with them. I can't tell you how many rave reviews we have gotten on our wedding food. There were a number of chefs and hospitality industry folks attending our wedding and the food was very impressive to all guests. Primizie even set up a beautiful table for two in the bridal suite for us to enjoy our meal (as you know most couples don't get to eat at their own weddings). Also a freak arctic blast blew in for our wedding, the staff did an amazing job at moving everything under cover and creating a warm and intimate setting for our ceremony where our guests could keep warm.   Primizie catered our wedding of 160 people with efficiency, professionalism, and a stress on deliciousness, and we could not have been more pleased!! The food was amazing - We loved every bite we took! And we kept hearing from our guests: "This food is incredible - It's food I would get in an expensive restaurant, not be served at a wedding!" AND "Best wedding food I've ever had!"
  
  They were creative and innovative, with unique ideas that really set them apart from other companies we met with. Emily brought food for at least 10 people to the tasting. It was all cooked to perfection the way it would be on the day of the wedding and we feasted the night of the tasting and for a couple of days after with the leftovers.
  
  All the food is prepared on site, so it was all incredibly fresh.
  
  We (bride and groom) had fully prepared plates delivered to us as soon as we arrived at our table (which we didn't eat much of because of the excitement. Not to worry though - they had made up a whole bundle of food for us and put it in our exit car. We stopped down the road and ate it all!

Emily and her husband created a menu for us based on some specific requests we had about Italian food (I lived in Italy and wanted to have authentic food) but wanted to use some local Texas ingredients (fresh peaches, pecans, rosemary). They accommodated all our wishes and even made special provisions for our vegetarian guests and guests with other dietary needs.
  
  When our crowd, full of wine importers, chefs, and foodies kept walking up to me saying "wow, the food is so good, " I knew not only were we happy but everyone was really happy.
  
  When my wife said to me "We have to have the Pork; we can stop looking for caterers." after our first catering appointment, I knew we were likely going to choose them no matter who we visited.
  
  Last thing-details. The meyer lemons she used on the grilled veggies and that she ordered to be used in our cocktails, fantastic. And, she went above and beyond to stay in our budget and still create a savory, memorable dinner.

Amy & Emily were there for me every step of the way, I am pretty sure I sent Amy a email every week for a year with different questions or concerns and she helped me every single time. The food was absolutely delicious both nights, and the service from Amy and her team was beyond wonderful.
  
  I have always loved Primizie's food, but what really stood out for me at this wedding was the service. When I got busy with the rehearsal and was short-handed, Amy's team stepped in and helped decorate giant trees around the rehearsal dinner venue with paper lanterns and pom poms the bride had provided. You can imagine my surprise when I returned from the rehearsal to see what her team had accomplished, it really showed the character of not only Amy but her team as well.
  
  I really can't thank Amy and everyone at Primizie enough for having such a huge role in making my client's wedding memorable!

  Amy was absolutely fabulous, and the whole Primizie crew did a great job with our wedding.
  
  When we were planning, we had a lot of anxiety about the food. My husband is a vegetarian and we wanted to be sure that we had great food that he could enjoy, but would also be enjoyed by our guests. Primizie delivered that, with a reasonable price, and our food was one of the most complimented things at our wedding.
  
  Amy was a lifesaver, in planning and just general knowledge of vendors in the area. I couldn't be happier with the help she provided.

  Soooo once we were booked and as we got closer to our wedding she was still super easy to work with despite us changing our mind what seemed like 50 times about everything up until the week before. :) She also isn't out to price gouge you. Her food prices seemed reasonable, she isn't trying to make big marks up on any rentals she gets for you like silverware & glasses, her staff prices seemed reasonable in comparison to the other places we talked with. And for us the big thing was not being stuck to a list of 20 entrees that had preset options like some caterers we talked with.
  
  Our wedding has now finally come and gone and everything was simply wonderful. Everyone loved the food, she was able to accommodate last minute additions of some gluten free folks by subbing rice for the pasta. Her staff was always making sure Dan & I had food, beverages, etc. They were right there when I had a question and a few times I ran to the changing room to grab things as we were getting ready to sit for dinner and they were all keeping an eye on me. Everyone has been telling me how wonderful her staff was. We picked out 2 classic cocktails the week before without time to try them. And they were awesomeeee. People said they were best French75s they've had in town. All weekend the family was asking if we brought home the extra food from dinner because they wanted some more of it. How often do you hear that about wedding food? haha

  Emily from Events by Emily was fantastic! We hired her as a wedding planner as we were in Houston and she was extremely helpful. She provided great referrals for our wedding that we wouldn't have even thought of on our own. She was able to vendor calls on our behalf and made our busy lives easier. She is extremely organized and kept our wedding weekend on a tight schedule. We also hired Emily's catering for a Chinese tea ceremony the day before the wedding - the food was fantastic and all our family and friends were impressed with the food and professional demeanor of her staff.

  When we were considering different caterers for our wedding, I knew we wanted to have the very best. And after checking a few others out, I knew that I had found them in Events By Emily. We wanted to do something different and special for our wedding, to really make it stand out from the others, so we went with a tv themed wedding! To bring such an exciting event to life, I knew we had to find a caterer who would not just consider us another wedding, but someone who would fall in love with our idea, and help add their special touches to it. And that's what Emily did for us.
  
  From the initial e-mail I sent her, to the day of our wedding, I would consider Emily a critical part of the success of our day. She was so kind when meeting with us initially, helping give us some rough ideas, and really getting into our idea, and bouncing ideas off of us. She presented so many different options for us to choose from, and helped not just compile a list of food to serve, but a cohesive and well thought out menu that I wish we could have every day of our lives. Trust me, if you can, you must try to get the fried Mac and Cheese. I will warn you though. Once you've had theirs, you will never be able to have anyone else's. It is THAT good. I am STILL getting e-mails from guests telling us how amazing those were. It's no surprise that there were none left at the end of the evening.
  
  Emily is such a sweet and fun person. When we had initially met with her, we had planned a menu for around 120, but we ended up cutting that number in half as we got closer to our special day. Was that an issue for her? Not at all! She helped make the necessary adjustments to our menu to better fit our new guest count. But it's not just the food that she helped fit into our menu. No, she took it 1 step further and even helped fit the drinks into our theme as well! That's just one other example of her going above and beyond the call of duty. And let me tell you, having 1 catering company who can not only provide amazing food and amazing people, but handle the bar as well? A huge plus indeed. I knew that with Emily working the event, there was nothing to worry about.
  
  If you are unsure of who to write to, then do yourself a favor and send Emily an e-mail. They will prepare one of the best meals you will ever have in Austin, and help make you realize that you too can be the envy of all of your friends when you serve them some of the best food they've ever had. Speaking of which, I may have to go e-mail her right now for our next event!

The food was flawless, and I've never seen so many clean plates going back to a kitchen at a wedding. They use the finest fresh ingredients, presentation is creative, and service at the wedding was awesome! They even went an extra step and the servers wore details to fit the vintage theme. Everything was perfect, and the guests raved about the food from start to finish!

Lisa was awesome to work with very easily worked within our budget to plan a menu that fit our unique tastes as well as suiting our venue (Laguna Gloria). Great for brides on a budget - but with expensive taste!

  Robyn was amazing to work with. She was very patient and guided us through our menu choices - their catering menu is very expansive. She helped us work within our budget. She was so helpful with everything - she was almost a wedding planner for me! The food was amazing - it all worked perfectly together and we got so many compliments - people still talk about the food at our reception. You will not be disappointed with Primizie.

  Lisa was so great to work with. She took some basic ideas we had (a nice sit down dinner) and made a really great menu. She took care of all of the table/chair/linen rentals which was fantastic to not have to worry about. She was very accommodating when we asked to change or add things and provided lots of helpful suggestions along the way. We chose beef tenderloin for the main course, and we initially had some reservations about guests receiving too-well done beef.   The food was wonderful! The taste of everything exceeded our expectations - guests were complimenting the food all night. Everyone was very helpful and the service was exceptional. We had a buffet style dinner and when my (now husband) and I sat down to eat, our favorite drinks were already at the table with a full plate of food. The bartender knew what we were drinking the entire night, so when we came to the bar, our drinks were ready. Everyone - the waiters, bartender, and event manager were very helpful; from pinning my broken bustle to giving a guest their flip-flops because the guest’s heels broke!! Simply an amazing company!!! (Not to mention everthing they did to help us before the wedding)

  Sometimes emails with them were confusing and although we switched event managers at the very end due to our original one leaving for another job, Primizie was one of the best vendors we had the night of our wedding. The presentation of the food was beautiful and inviting. The wait staff was kind, patient and attentive. They went above and beyond to help us break down after the event when we there was confusion with the rental company.   Primizie also provides additional staff if you choose to go for a sit-down dinner instead of a buffet.

  We selected Primizie for their delicious food and the presentation. We did not want anything you would find at a banquet hall or hotel. Primizie did not disappoint. We still get compliments almost 3 months after the wedding. My only disappointment was that we were not informed of a $700 pick up fee from Marquee for the rentals. Imagine our surprise when we met our budget then received the final invoice a few days after the wedding with an enormous additional charge. $700 is a lot of money. Sadly, because of this we had to cut back on the honeymoon to cover this unexpected fee. For that amount we would of found another solution.
