I can’t imagine my wedding day without Marian as my day of coordinator. She was helpful with vendor suggestions and questions and keeping us moving through the planning process. And on the wedding day she was one step ahead of everything through the entire day and night. If things went wrong, I didn’t know because she was working hard behind the scenes. She also made the day fun and light, adding humor to the taking photos in the rain, and stains on dresses. We could not ask for more from Marian, I would regret booking with anyone else for my wedding.

We initially hired Porch & Pearls in 2019 for Day Of Coordination for our 2020 wedding, not knowing that we'd be hit with a pandemic, a reschedule, and a last minute venue change. From our very first phone call, I felt confident that Marian would have our backs on the wedding day no matter what came up, but I had no idea just how much we would come to know and appreciate her. When faced with the challenge of the pandemic, Marian more than rose to the occasion. She helped us navigate contract changes requested by vendors, and she gave us sound and unbiased advice when facing the unexpected decision to either move the venue or cut the guest list. She was supportive, honest and patient throughout the entire process. It was so clear that she cares deeply for her clients and would go to great lengths to help their wedding day be perfect.

...and perfect, it was, thanks to Marian and her assistant ensuring that our day went smoothly. Several guests complimented how professional, courteous and helpful they both were. When the groomsmen discovered they were missing a boutonniere, another one was procurred almost immediately. I would be happy to share more helpful examples where they saved the day, but any other issues were handled so professionally and discreetly that they were not even on our radar. We were able to be fully present, enjoy our day, and take in every last moment thanks to Marian and her team, and we cannot thank her enough!

Marian and the Porch and Pearls team were absolute stars! Our original wedding date was scheduled to take place at the beginning of covid. Everyone's head was spinning at that time. Marian offered support and practical resources as we switched gears. When we decided to do a backyard wedding before our large postponed wedding, she even helped us navigate getting a wedding license (all the courthouses were shut down at the time).

When the time came for our large wedding, we encountered more curve balls...including the day before and day of. We put all of our eggs in the Marian basket to think quickly and adjust where needed. She's a pro! Additionally, she identifed VIPs in our family and treated them as such...I have already started recommending Marian to any and all of my friends getting married.

Hire Marian! Don't hesitate; just do it! She as absolutely incredible from the initial intake meeting to the day of. I hired Marian as my day of coordinator, but that was b/c the Venue had an exclusive caterer and our photographer/band were already pre-set as well. Otherwise, I would've hired her for everything! She is extremely efficient, detail oriented and thorough. We had multiple calls leading up to the wedding to coordinate the timeline and she reached out to all of the vendors to ensure thye were aligned. Details like when should the salads be served vs the toasts be delivered. Things I would've never thought of, not only did she ask the right questions but she provided valuable insights/direction from her experience. On the day of our wedding, she arrived at the hotel bridal suite and made sure everything was going smoothly. She even helped the girls clean the suite so it would be nice when my husband and I arrived that night. During the wedding, she was everywhere. She provided great direction for the formal photos making sure she had a list ahead of time and they went so smoothly. She helped get the most amazing photos and gathered everyone needed for the sparkler send off. All in all, she made the day as stress free as possible. I sincerely appreciate Marian so much for helping me have the most wonderful wedding!!

We worked with Marian ahead of our October 5 wedding, with her help leading up to the big day and coordinator Taylor with us throughout the event. From start to finish, it was the best decision we could've made for the wedding. We were doing a very DIY wedding at a bare bones venue and she helped us figure out lots of kinks and logistical challenges in the months leading up to the wedding. She's that kind of person you just trust immediately when you start talking. Taylor, who was with us day-of, was just as amazing. She was a consumate professional and was so incredibly calm (which always helps me out when I'm freaking out a bit!) and if anything went wrong I never heard about it. To me, every single thing went off without a hitch and whenever we needed something Taylor was there to help. Couldn've have asked for a better coordinator, and couldn't have done it without them!

Marian is the best of the best! I never knew how much planning went into a wedding and I think if it wasn’t for Marian helping me immensely, my wedding probably wouldn't have turned out as nicely and organized as it did. She asked me things I didn’t even know were pertinent to weddings, she truly knows all of her stuff and loves to do it, you can tell! I had such a great time at my wedding because I didn’t have to worry about one single thing with Marian taking such great care of me!
