Go to the Marriott for Ashley

Ashley took over for Fallon about half way through my wedding planning process and she was AMAZING! Ashley responds promptly to emails, she is super helpful, she gets tasks accomplished in a timely fashion, she is so sweet, and she honestly makes you feel like you are the only bride that matters, which reduces the chaotic stress of wedding planning. I would highly recommend the Marriott for Ashely alone if anything else.

We had a wonderful experience using Marriott City Center and working with their special events coordinator, Fallon Deriggi-Schuck. Every staff member at the Marriott was extremely friendly and helpful - even before we had booked the event, which was comforting knowing our guests would be well taken care of. The event went extremely smoothly and we never had to worry about anything that night, if we had questions, someone was always readily available. Fallon was very helpful answering questions and making sure everything was organized prior to the event. It was nice to work with a venue package that included food, uplighting, linens, cake and other small details. We had a plated dinner and the food options were excellent - even when made at a large scale for the event. The package also included place cards and table numbers, which was a nice detail that we didn't have to worry about creating or printing. Fallon was great at making the package options flexible, to adjust for things that we didn't want and adding on for things that we did.

Words can't describe how much I appreciated and enjoyed working with the staff at the Marriott City Center to plan my reception. Fallon, our coordinator and go-to girl, was so supportive and quickly answered the many questions from both my parents and myself during the planning process. She was readily available to work with us to meet our needs. She also helped coordinate with the vendors included in the package by the Marriott, such as the florist and stationary. At the reception, every staff member was professional and polite. William was the head of the catering staff the night of the reception, and he was delightful and so helpful. In short, I really recommend this venue to anyone looking for a downtown Pittsburgh wedding venue. The Marriott crew is organized, professional, and values you as the customer, so personal details are never forgotten. Thanks again!

Our wedding planner at the Marriott, TamMichele, made our dream reception come together! Our reception banquet room was elegant and beautifully set up. The food and cake were amazing. The other staff treated our guests kindly and were helpful with all of our needs. Highly recommend!!

The Marriott City Center was perfect for our wedding reception. We had a ton of out of town guests and we didn't want to deal with setting up transportation between venues so we definitely wanted a ballroom style wedding. The Marriott City Center accommodated every single need for us. The event manager TamMichele Holt was outstanding! She helped arrange everything on the day of wedding. She was so professional leading up to the day. Our taste test was fantastic. She was there every step of the way in regards to planning and executing the look of the reception. She was prompt in returning emails and phone calls. She was flexible with us as well. In addition, all of the staff at the Marriott were amazing. I had numerous people tell me how well they were treated by the hotel staff. The food was also delicious and there were many options for our sit down dinner. I gave TamMichele our vision for our day and she really made it come to life. You want to be able to trust someone who is executing everything on the day of your wedding and not have any worries, and TamMichele did just that. I highly recommend this venue. It is just as spectacular as other Pittsburgh hotel venues but the quality that TamMichele delivers goes above those other venues. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!

TamMichele is AMAZING!! I cannot express enough how fortunate we were to have her as a coordinator for our wedding day. She worked through my crazy lists of questions, requests for things to be a certain way, etc. She bent over backwards to make sure that we had everything we needed and that things would be set up the way we wanted.

The prices are fair for being in Downtown Pittsburgh, and the rooms are beautiful. We had our reception in the Grand Ballroom and everything was perfect. The food is delicious and our guests raved about both the food and the drinks being served.

I cannot recommend this location enough and I am so glad we had our wedding reception here!

My husband and I were married at the Pittsburgh Marriot City Center on January 7th, 2017. It was the best day of my life and I owe it all to their wedding planner and Catering Manager, TamMichele Holt. They made every accommodation possible to make our day as beautiful and special as possible, and they certainly exceeded our every expectation. The Presidential Suite was absolutely amazing too! Thank you to the establishment, and of course, the best wedding planner and now our friend, TamMichele :)

Working with TamMichele, William our catering captain and the entire Marriott staff for our wedding was an absolute dream. Their attention to detail and responsiveness made planning a wedding from out of town easier than we ever could have dreamed of. From the seamless vendor coordination, to designing a perfect flow for the gorgeous ballroom, to helping us book accommodations for our guests and a massive suite for getting ready and spending our wedding night, we truly could not have asked for a better venue. We felt like celebrity guests at the hotel all weekend long, and relive the wonderful day - and even the process of working with TamMichele - all the time. I would highly recommend the Marriott City Center to any future bride and groom. You won't be disappointed with this team at your side.
