Shikha is hands-down the best wedding planner out there. My wife and I had a 3-day Hindu-Christian fusion wedding, and Shikha planned it masterfully. From finding and contacting vendors to designing our invitations and backdrops, Shikha did an amazing job. She was also very patient throughout the entire process. Shikha is a kind, caring person with a talent and a passion for her work. Shikha is an absolute pleasure to work with and handled everything gracefully. This was second time we worked with Shikha, we worked with her 5 years ago for her wedding (which was a great experience already) so we did our baby shower also with her! She did the main stage and aisle for us and the main stage look was very beautiful, it was so elegant and way beyond our expectations! She knew best as an artist what will match with what and made sure everything fits together. Really enjoyed her work and would recommend her!!

We used Party People Events & Decor to serve as the providers for our wedding planning services and decorations and we are beyond pleased. We tried planning an Indian wedding ourselves, but with both of us working it was just too much to keep up with. I truly believe without the help of Shikha and her team, we would have never had the wedding we envisioned. Not only did she help keep us on track with our timeline, she did so from a disadvantage. We reached out to her when we were only 4 months away from the wedding and desperately needed help. Shikha offered support and guidance, as well as a network of professionals she had experience with that we had no access to. She provided excellent recommendations for food, DJ, photography and decor for 3 days at 2 different venues. She also served to help with negotiating pricing with them, which saved us money in the long run.
Because Shikha did all the hard work for us, we were left to really just make the big decisions -- typically based on her recommendations. There were, of course, some things we saw differently on and she always listened fully to what we wanted, then went above and beyond to make it happen and see our vision to fruition. Shikha also served as a day-of wedding coordinator. Making the days leading up to the wedding, and the events themselves (Haldi / Mehndi / Pooja, Sangeet / Garba, and Wedding / Reception) going smoothly without us needing to be constantly bothered. Instead, we could actually enjoy the moments of the most special days of our lives. Overall, Shikha provided an invaluable experience that went well beyond our expectations. We are forever grateful for the hard work her and her team put in to make our day beyond special.
