Parallel photography is hands down the best in the business. Kate & Erin are extremely talented, skillful, and professional photographers. The work they produce is unquestionably top quality: not only are their images technically masterful, they are also artistically stunning. What's even more impressive is how well the two work together as partners -- capturing both the beautiful intricate details (the bride's mother buttoning her daughter's dress, the sparkling rings, the decadent table setting) but also the raw, real emotion of the day. From the moment we posted our sneak peak images on Facebook, we had friends and family begging us to know how we got such amazing photos.

What's perhaps most amazing is how much FUN we had working with Kate and Erin on the day of the wedding. I had been dreading the 'portraits' section of our day, having had to sit through many hours of wedding photos as a bridesmaid in the past. Kate & Erin made every moment a blast. They scouted the property the morning of and had discovered some really amazing locations ahead of time (from abandoned "ruins" straight out of medieval England to a country farmhouse -- all only steps away from our venue).

My husband and I are normally not very photogenic, and are stiff and awkward in front of a camera. With Kate & Erin, we felt totally free to be ourselves. We did all sorts of silly and crazy poses, with the two of them egging us on. My absolute favorite photo so far is from a moment where my husband decided to dip me on a whim -- kissing me while I was upside down. Though we gave them no warning, Kate & Erin captured the moment perfectly.

As a final note -- Kate & Erin took all the stress out of our day. In the days before the wedding, it looked like there might be an ice storm on the morning of the event. When I called Kate, she already had a back-up plan in mind and was willing to do *whatever it took* to make sure we had photography coverage -- even if the roads were closed down.

I contacted Erin at Parallel Photography just a little over a month before my November wedding. She was incredibly responsive and graciously squeezed us into her schedule and worked with our budget. Our venue was indoors and had a beautiful view of the city lights- making is VERY tricky to photograph. The ceremony was inside and then we took photos at 4 pm as the sun was just beginning to go down. We are so pleased with our photos and with Erin and her teams’s professionalism. Highly recommend!!

Working with Erin was an absolute pleasure. I was a little worried to begin with because I had left booking my photographer to the last minute. After a short consultation phone call with Erin I was quickly put at ease because she asked me questions regarding my wants/needs in order for her to understand what I was looking for. The photos turned out amazing and she was really fun to have around as well! She captured all of the moments that I was looking for and then some!
