We did not know where to being as we searched for wedding ceremony options in Maui...we came across Paradise Maui Weddings and we blown away by the speedy response from Klaus! He put us in touch with Darcie P., our wedding coordinator and we were off and running with less than 3 months to plan the wedding of our dreams! It was so turn key from the moment had our first call to tell her our vision of our special day! We had our wedding at DT Flemings beach and reception at Duke's Beach House... everything from the flowers, cake to the small details of our wedding favors were on point. We were so thankful the photographer, Penny Palmer took our photos and captured every moment and every detail. All of it was AMAZING!!! We are Happily Mauied!!! Our family and friends were blown away by our destination wedding. We have the photos, the video and all the memories from start to finish of our wedding day on 10.11.2014. I cannot say enough good things about Paradise Maui Wedding Planning. Bonnie Carpenter was my wedding planner and she was absolutely amazing. I live in Canada and would classify myself as a "nit-picky" bride at best....and Bonnie was with me through it all. All of the millions of emails and text messages were answered promptly (or she would send me an email acknowledging that she received my email and that I would have a response in the next day or two). She worked so hard to get me the flowers I wanted (and although we weren't successful with my first option, she found the ONLY garden roses in Hawaii and had them on my reception table as a nice suprise). She was very calm and coordinated through the entire ceremony and reception.

Bonnie's husband Jon was our photographer (although Bonnie had a camera in her hands most of the time too!). Jon was awesome!! He has such a warm heart and a very vibrant spirit! He kept us upbeat and smiling through the whole day. We upgraded to the full coverage package of photos and are SOO happy that we did. He took the time to make sure every shot was perfect and anything I wanted....he made happen. He made my new husband and myself feel at ease and relaxed while posing for the more difficult photos (ie. the romantic dip on the beach, LOL). One thing that really impressed me was when there was a moment of panic. I was wearing my future husband's great grandmothers heirloom ring for the ceremony and realized during pictures that I had lost it somewhere. Jon was already on the phone with getting us a metal detector and Bonnie was on her hands and knees looking in the grass. It was my sister (and MOH) who ended up finding it before any of our guests even knew what had happened. But during that extremely stressful time, Jon and Bonnie were upbeat and did not panic. They actually calmed me down and reassured me that we would find it. They are very professional, kind, and beautiful people that made my day the most special day to remember. It wouldn't have been so successful without them (especially if I had to plan all of this by myself from so far away!)

Bonnie and John were fabulous. Me and my now husband are both active duty military and they truly were so flexible and accommodating of us! With my pending deployment to Afghanistan looming they made planning my big day one less stress stressor in my life! The photos are starting to come in and they are just wonderful and seem to have captured the essence of our wedding. Bonnie and John made taking all those pictures after the wedding not a drag and even my guests were having fun! We had the absolute best experience with the team at Paradise Maui Weddings! Bonnie our coordinator had all the details covered, from setting up our license appointment to getting a stylist (Jackie, who is a superstar), to photography Lauren (amazing her keen eye for detail will pay off in the final photos), flowers and of course Reverend Sonny who in addition to giving us a wonderful ceremony actually delivered our certified temporary wedding certificate, along with a Maui calendar (we love you Sonny). And then the beach location, unbelievable! There was nothing overlooked by Bonnie and her team. My only criticism is the web site, it can be somewhat confusing, and difficult to pay, but worth it! These guy deliver! Btw, I've read some other review talking about pictures, these guys sent us a few unedited photos immediately, John, the editor was responsive to our need to have a photo for announcements, and provided a website where you can select whatever photos you like. If I had a year to plan a wedding I could not have done anything better!

Everypne at Paradise Maui Weddings has been such a blessing! We filled out the form hoping to make sure we got our 3yr anniversary as our weeding date and they wrote back almost immediately! We are in Texas so I KNOW it had to have been early over there. Then not even 5 minutes later...at 7:30 in the morning MAUI time I got a text from our awesome photographer! They don't play games!! Everything the past week has just flown so smoothly. JMCMAUI is doing our photographs and we couldn't be more pleased!! They have been so good to us. It is a husband and wife team, John and Bonnie and not only that Bonnie is now doing the wedding coordination too!

It couldn't be more perfect to have the people shooting the biggest day of your life to also be planning the wedding. I've done a lot of research on destination weddings and it always seems like you don't meet the photogaphers until the day of. I was absolutely thrilled John called us and wanted to know so much about and what we are in to so he could give us the only gift we could have to remember our big day with!!!...PICTURES! They are even helping with my hair and makeup so I don't get frazzled on the big day and a small cake for the "cake in the face shots".

Better than anything my fiance is a roper and John used to rope growing up and is he gonig to try his hardest to set up some shots the following day at a few different locations so we have an array of backgrounds and if possible set it up for Jeff to Rope in MAUI!!! (Way more than we could ever ask for!!) It would be a dream come true!

It isn't even here yet and I have never even met John and Bonnie but I already feel like they are our best friends and I know they will make our wedding be more than we could ever dream of!!!

Paradise Maui Weddings is spectacular to work with! Jennifer, our wedding coordinator was professional, courteous, always responded in a timely manner, and clearly communicated and answered questions. Jennifer was very flexible and accomodated our requests for additional services without any pause. Our wedding ceremony on Ulua Beach in Wailea was perfect. Laki, our minister provided a service that went WAY past our expectations; we couldn't have been happier. Laki worked in the guest lei ceremony we wanted to include at the last minute and that ended up being one of the more special aspects of our ceremony. Olaf, the photographer, helped us select the perfect spot to get married on the beach to ensure our photo's would turn out amazing, which they did. Olaf took over 400 pictures, including before, during, and after the ceremony and with our guests. The entire wedding package was more than we could have asked for and I would recommend Paradise Maui Weddings with the highest confidence. I was worried about having a wedding away from home, but Paradise Maui Weddings made me feel at ease. The wedding planner answered all of my questions and made me a beautiful bouquet because I "liked" them on Facebook. They took care of everything down to the smallest detail. The day of the wedding I felt like they wanted the day to be perfect more than I did! The photographer took many pictures and they were gorgeous. Everyone was very kind to us. I loved our minister. He played music during our ceremony on the beach and even played a song after the ceremony for us to have our first dance. Our special day was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding! The ceremony was in a perfect location and the day was beautiful. We were pleased with Andrew (the musician) he added a more romantic scene. The ministry was fun and kind.
