Adam catered our wedding at a private residence. He and his team were so knowledgable about logistics and setting up/breaking down and cooked an incredible meal. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding food they had ever had in their life. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. You'll meet Adam for a private tasting at the restaurant beforehand, and he tastes everything with you and gives you really great advice on how to do your event properly. Adam worked his way up in the company and is truly an inspiring person to work with.

Panda Catering was an unexpected choice for our families that are used to other brand name caterers for their traditional Asian banquet receptions. It's very difficult to improve upon the traditional banquet menu. However, Adam and his team are very flexible on the menu choices, ensured that water glasses were filled promptly, made sure the guests got any condiments or drinks needed (for the older guests with mobility difficulty), and were quick to adapt to disruptions in the wedding timeline. We emphasized that the food needed to be fresh and hot (This sounds obvious, but you may be surprised at some weddings), and they delivered on their word cooking on-site. The food at the reception was the same as the tasting, which was great for us! We saw Adam working hard being on the floor serving food, taking away items, and stayed behind to clean up the venue - that's how committed he is to the job and service.

We opted for their standard 10-course meal, but could have easily done 8 courses as guests were getting full around the 4th or 6th dish depending on the table. The most common feedback was that "there was too much food", but in this case people walked away with boxed leftovers. We noticed that most of the guests had cleaned the platters, so it was THAT good. For a traditional Asian wedding, something's wrong when there's 8 courses but guests walk away hungry.

Panda Catering is in the upper end of the price range, but for us we had no regrets going with them over another brand name caterer that costed a couple thousand dollars less. Because we already paid for their servers, they cut the cake and served ice cream we brought ourselves at no extra charge. I highly recommend checking out the Yelp reviews that talk about Panda's willingness to create a custom menu for your needs. You will pay a premium, but they deliver on their word on high quality food and service.

When we started planning our wedding, one of our top priorities was the food. We knew we didn’t want the typical dry chicken or steak option, and neither did we want the typical Chinese banquet multi-course meals. We had a small wedding so we wanted be more creative with the food we serve, while also making sure that we accommodated our friends and family’s various dietary restrictions. We are happy to say mission accomplished, thanks to Adam and his team. We went to the tasting and had a really hard time deciding between all the delicious options he served us. When we finally decided on a menu that we were satisfied with and fit our budget, last minute unexpected changes with our wedding venue required us to adjust our catering significantly. Adam was very accommodating and flexible the entire time with our changes. He and his team were also very professional. Adam gave us inputs on the presentation and setup of the food station, and went on site visit to scope out our venue in preparation. On the day of our wedding this past November, Adam was on site to supervise and all the food came out amazing, both in presentation and in taste. We had truffle garlic noodles as part of the menu and it was a total hit with everyone. Many of our friends and family, who are also foodies, repeatedly raved to us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, including their own wedding. Adam and his team also came prepared with to-go boxes for leftovers, which our friends and family happily took home. Suffice to say we are very happy with the service Adam and his team provided and will recommend Panda Catering to other couples looking for caterer.
