I Hector Sanchez , the founder of the Grill Sergeant Food Truck , discovered my love for cooking at a very young age. Growing up I spent countless hours in the kitchen with my father ,Hector Sr., helping prepare food for family reunions and backyard BBQs. Those early moments sparked a lifelong passion for bringing people together through great food. Cooking has always been more than just preparing meals, it’s about experimenting with flavors ,mixing spices, and creating dishes that make people smile. After years of dreaming about running my own kitchen ,that dream finally became a reality when I purchased a food truck and launched The Grill Sergeant. Today ,the food truck is truly a family operation. I work side by side with my daughter Christina ,my son Alex, my niece Ari and my son and daughter in law ,creating a welcoming atmosphere and serving food made with pride, passion and family tradition. The Grill Sergeant Food Truck is a crowd-pleasing mobile kitchen serving bold , comforting favorites like handcrafted Pastrami Sandwiches , juicy Smash Burgers , classic Grilled Cheese, fresh cut Fries , and other crave-worthy fare. While we may not be the traditional choice for formal dinner service ,we specialize in keeping the celebration going .
