Painted Ladies came highly recommended from our wedding planner. Being two grooms, we were excited to see that they had “groom services” specifically outlined on their price sheet. We also wanted to provide services to the ladies in our grooms’ crew as well as our mothers. They had asked for pictures of everyone in advance alongside photos of desired looks for hair and makeup. This allowed the team to come in ready to go. They also worked with us in advance to find products that could accommodate a few allergies in the group. We had Dawn, Amber, Lindsey and Cejana work with our group in two rooms at the hotel. They were on time and very professional and kept to the schedule. Everyone was happy with their looks and, most importantly, still looked great at the end of the day. Our wedding was outdoors in Winters, CA at the end of July and the high hit 102. I typically start to get shiny and sweat in that kind of heat and you cannot even tell in any of our pictures. We were so happy that we hired the Painted Ladies team. Although we cannot speak from a bride’s perspective, they were amazing with these two grooms and the rest of the important ladies in our lives.

We got married at City Hall in January with family and celebrated at Foreign Cinema with 145 friends in February and Sophia made my dream a reality. From start to finish, Sophia made everything look so easy; she listened to me as I described my ideal look each time - it changed more than once, patiently talked me through every step, taught me about different products and processes, kept me calm on an otherwise stressful day, and made sure to stay within my budget. She is incredibly patient, compassionate, creative, detailed, hilarious, and affordable. Working with Sophie felt so natural; so much so, I hope we can remain friends! Thank you, Sophia for EVERYTHING! You made this clueless bride look good!! XO

Painted Ladies did the hair and makeup for my wedding. Sophia and Teresa were such a pleasure to work with! They did a beautiful job on me, my bridesmaids, and my mom! We all loved our hair and makeup! They were easy to work with, on time, and lovely to be around. Plus, they were surprisingly affordable, considering how talented they both are! Overall, it was a perfect experience and I would recommend them to anyone!!
