I truly cannot recommend Joanna enough! From start to finish, she was incredibly professional, punctual, kind, sweet, and patient. Most importantly, she absolutely executes. I had my heart set on classic Hollywood waves for my wedding day, and Joanna not only brought my vision to life, she exceeded every expectation I had.

She also has an amazing program that allows you to rent hair extensions directly from her, which made the entire process so easy. My hair looked elegant, classic, and beautiful, but what impressed me just as much was how incredibly well it lasted. Joanna did my hair at 7am and I was out celebrating until 4:30am at my after-party. I put my hair through the ringer - dancing, jumping around, swinging my hair, and even wearing a bandana/headband - and somehow it STILL looked amazing at the end of the night!

Joanna made me feel like the most beautiful bride on one of the most important days of my life. She is incredibly talented, dependable, and genuinely wonderful to work with. I could not have been happier with my hair, and I would recommend her to any bride without hesitation. Thank you, Joanna, for making me feel so beautiful!

Joanna did such an amazing job with my hair and makeup for my engagement shoot! She was very responsive with my emails, I had initially wanted a specific look for my makeup but change my mind last minute. She was able to accommodate and be so helpful with achieving the look I wanted.

Joanna is nothing short of professional, friendly and extremely talented. I wanted a very specific elaborate hairstyle for my wedding day with super long and thick extensions and she brought the vision completely to fruition! My mother also wanted a soft glam look and a voluminous hairstyle that Joanna did a beautiful job on. I would absolutely recommend her for anyone’s special event as she is wonderful at what she does. 10/10!

I had such a wonderful experience with Joanna for my wedding! She and her team of three did hair and makeup for me, my mom, and five of my bridesmaids, and everything ran so smoothly throughout the morning.

She was incredibly personable, professional, and easy to work with. I really appreciated how receptive she was to feedback—any time I wanted to tweak or change a detail, she listened and adjusted it exactly how I wanted without making me feel difficult or rushed.

Joanne was amazing! She asked how I wanted my makeup done and she made it better. She was kind, fun, and very professional. We were in the Bay Area and I asked if I needed her in Sacramento she said she’d definitely travel! By the end of our session I felt like I had known her for years! Great aura about her! I had my trial hair and makeup done with her, and she showed up right on time and brought my inspiration to life. After my trial, I decided to go in a completely different direction with both my hair and makeup because of some changes to my dress. Joanna did an absolutely amazing job with both my hair and makeup! I don’t wear makeup often, so wanted a more natural glam for my bridal look and Joanna did exactly that. My features including my freckles were all still visible, but enhanced to make me feel like a model on such an important day. She was incredibly responsive and warm throughout the experience, and even helped me as I fell on my way out to get her on the morning of my wedding. She is incredibly talented and it is obvious she cares about the individuals she works with. I know if I ever need my makeup done again in the San Jose area exactly who I will call.

We did a trial beforehand, which ended up being super helpful. I was unsure exactly what I wanted and Joanna helped me figure that out! On my wedding day, she made a few adjustments from the trial and absolutely nailed my vision. My hair and makeup were exactly what I had hoped for, and I felt so beautiful and confident all day.

Beyond her talent, she brought such a positive, calming energy to the entire morning. She helped create a relaxed, fun atmosphere while we were getting ready, which made such a difference on what could’ve been a very anxious morning. She also brought a few assistants with her so our entire bridal party was able to get hair and makeup done efficiently without anyone feeling rushed. She crafted a timeline to ensure we could fit everyone in and it went so smoothly.

I truly can’t recommend her enough. Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she’s also kind, professional, organized, and someone you genuinely want by your side on your wedding day. I’m so thankful for Joanna and her team that made my bridal party and I feel amazing and helped make my wedding morning everything I hoped it would be!

Joanna was an absolute pleasure to work with. Not only is she incredibly TALENTED (my final look was flawless and my pictures turned out stunning), but she is also responsible, organized, prompt, and just an adorable sweet person overall!

It was so fun to get to know her during my trial and my actual wedding day. She is so easy to talk to and has a very zen and calm demeanor. She made both my mom and my sister-in-law safe and feel super beautiful with their services, and was very gracious when I had more than one visitor come to my hotel suite to say hi before the event. Lastly, she's just an awesome human being. The zipper in my dress was stuck and I started having a panic attack and tears just started coming down, literally 2 mins after she'd already packed up and headed out, Joanna came back and did touch ups for me gracefully, having to partially set up yet again to fix the make up. I'm so thankful for her!
