I hired Maggi for my wedding on 11/05/2022. My original artist had canceled on me a couple of weeks before my wedding and I was panicking. Thankfully, I found Maggi. From the initial consult to the day of, Maggi answered all of my questions and provided excellent service. She was super flexible, even with our early start time. Her methods were hygienic and sanitary. I felt very calm and comfortable as she was applying my makeup. On the day of my wedding, not only did she do the makeup for all of my bridesmaids and myself, but she also stayed a little bit afterwards to help me adjust my veil and my dress. My bridesmaids, my mom, my MIL, and I all LOVED how our makeup turned out. Plus our makeup lasted all throughout the night. I highly recommend Maggi to all the future brides out there. Maggi was responsive and did a great job. My makeup stayed on all night. I loved that she traveled to me for the trial, and she did a great job adjusting my mom’s look to something she was comfortable with (my mom is particular). Would definitely hire again!

She did my bride makeup (solo client - I didn’t have a wedding party) and was gracious in meeting me at my Peninsula getting-ready location even when other vendors wanted me to drive to their studios on my wedding day. She was very accommodating, too, in meeting me for the trial in San Francisco. After the trial, she remembered day-of feedback, and even feedback that I gave her, weeks after. She was super responsive, kept good track of everything - used Google Calendar and online invoices to ensure we had the same expectations of timing & costs. Calm, patient, professional, efficient but never made me felt rushed, and was unflappable with the family chaos happening around her as I was getting ready - thanks so much Maggi for making my day so memorable!

Makeup by Maggi was flexible, responsive, professional, and most importantly: this team made me look and feel like the most beautiful bride on the day of my wedding!!

My hair was on point, my makeup was on point. They created a schedule for my wedding party in advance so everything was perfectly planned without having to lift a finger. She also gave me great skin advice at my wedding trial so my skin was in top-tier condition by the day of my wedding.

Maggi even had a wedding care bag for the day of the wedding to fix my makeup, keep my breath and body smelling fresh, and for skin care the next day. She did touchups for all of the people who went before me so we all looked perfect by the time we got to the venue. It was a wedding party of multiple genders and ethnicities, but every person looked exactly how they wanted to with no hiccups along the way.

Maggi and Carmina (Maggi's hair stylist) were amazing! Maggi responded to my messages immediately at all hours of the day. When it came time for the special day, they arrived promptly, stayed on schedule, and were fun to hang out with. Their work on my bridesmaids, my mom, and MIL were incredible. Our friend/bride treated us to having our makeup done and it was such a treat! She was super sweet and gave me the exact eye look I was looking for. My makeup looked amazing the whole night! Plus she gave us "emergency" kits if an eyelash started to loosen or we needed any touch ups!
