We got married at Old Town Hall last summer (well before COVID, thankfully) and we cannot say enough good things about the venue. First of all, it is stunningly beautiful – the wood floors and antique windows make the entire space feel light and airy, and the wood beams, pillars, and chandeliers add elegance and grace. As if that weren’t enough, the upstairs where we had our ceremony is a beautiful little library (*swoon*) with a small, private room in the back, all of which gets incredible natural light. There’s also a great courtyard with a gazebo and a sweet garden in the back, which were lovely spaces for our cocktail hour. All of these spaces provided stunning background for our photos. Because it’s a historic building there are some restrictions with decorations, but the staff were super helpful throughout our planning process and on the day of our wedding, so we were able to make the space look exactly how we’d hoped. The staff themselves were also all superstars. We visited the space four times, including during a very thorough walk-through, and the day before our wedding day to drop off supplies. We also emailed them with questions about our alcohol permit and vendor inquiries. Each and every time, Old Town Hall staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we and our coordinators needed to make our wedding go off without a hitch, and they did so with incredible hospitality and kindness. And on the day of our wedding, they worked so hard alongside our coordinators to make sure every transition was seamless and every item we needed was available to us. The staff really blew us away. We absolutely loved having our wedding at Old Town Hall and we highly recommend it to anyone who’s considering it as their wedding venue.

I didn't ultimately use this hall for my wedding reception because the space was too small for our guest list. But before canceling, I did tour and reserve it so I want to review that experience, which was all very positive. It was easy to work with the City's event manager- very friendly and responsive. And I recall it being a good value and open-ended timeframe which would have been helpful with set-up. We decided to pop by on a Sunday, without an appointment, just to peek through the windows. But the building manager happened to be there, let us in, and gave us a quick tour, which was very generous of him. I think this would be a perfect venue for a 100 person or less event. You can use the upstairs library for cocktails and move downstairs for dinner; though the upstairs is admittedly less charming than the first floor.

When we toured Old Town Hall, we were in love. The old rustic charm sold us, the outdoor area is newly renovated and nice for pictures, and having everything indoors helped tremendously. Old Town Hall is in a convenient location for guest accommodations and right in the middle of downtown so the party still goes on! The downfall to this venue is that you have to rent it by the hour so you need to be wise with your time. It helps with the cost and makes it affordable but it would have really helped if you could just get it for the whole day. Also, the employee on duty is to take care of the trash throughout the event, but they let ours overflow until one of our vendors did it for us when they didn't have to. Overall, Old Town Hall will always hold a special place in our hearts and it is truly a beautiful venue.
