Best experience ever!
My husband and I got married at the Old Marsh Country Club, September 2020 and even will all things Covid and changing, they were so helpful and understanding. They made everything work amd it was the most beautiful wedding. The food was amazing and we still get asked about the food from our guests. Everyone told us it was the most fun, beautiful and most delicious wedding they have been too. I couldn't thank Kayla enough for everything she did for us. From creating the exact wedding I pictured by just describing it to her, to her keeping me collected and calm right before I walked down the aisle. Will forever say the best things about this place!Sent on 11/09/2020

Kayla and the staff at Old Marsh were absolutely AMAZING! During the planning process, they made every step as stress-free as possible and were so accommodating to our individual needs. Everything was organized and ready for our big day (even small details that we had overlooked) and Kayla was extremely attentive to our needs throughout the entire reception. We highly recommend Old Marsh for your wedding reception or special occasion!Sent on 09/12/2018

Shower held in function room at Old Marsh with help from Chantel. She helped to make the event a wonderful success that my "bride to be" granddaughter will remember fondly for a long time to come. Chantel was very professional and patient. Her guidance was much appreciated. I would recommend both venue and event coordinator to anyone!Sent on 08/21/2017

Team of Old Marsh Country Club
Hello there! My name is Jim and I am excited to be in my 5th season as your Chef at The Old Marsh Country Club. I have been a Maine Resident for twenty years; where I have had the opportunity to work in every area of the restaurant/hospitality as well as the Golf Club/Resort Industry. I also owned and operated my own Pub and Brewhouse for nearly ten years.
I proudly served in the Marine Corps from 1994 to 2002 as a Field Radio Operator. I am a diehard New England Patriots Fan (haven’t missed a snap since 1985) and lover of the game of Golf. I love spending time with my family and friends, playing golf, fishing, going on food excursions, craft beer, small batch bourbon, and also spending time with my dogs Daisy & Duke.
My name is Kayla and I am happy to be in my 5th season at The Old Marsh Country Club. I am originally from North Clarendon, VT; where I attended Mill River Union High School & Stafford Technical Center. After High School, I completed my Bachelor of Culinary Science at New England Culinary Institute. I graduated in 2009 and moved to southern Maine to pursue career opportunities and fell in love with seacoast living.
Between now and graduating from college, I’ve had the opportunity to work in many different positions, all focusing around hospitality, business administration, event planning, and food and beverage.
I’ve always enjoyed sports growing up. My father was a High School Football coach for 25+ years, my sister is now an Athletic Director at Mill River High and my brother an Athletic trainer at Vermont Orthopedic Clinic. I love to be around friends and family, gardening, and enjoying time with my two dogs, Daisy and Duke, and my two cats, Pickle & Olive. I love working with people and am excited to be your venue host for your wedding!
A great facility in a great location! Add this to the awesome staff, and you have an amazing wedding venue with first-class food and service!
