Nusrat is a dream wedding planner, and helped make every step of planning our wedding easy to create our dream wedding. Nusrat was able to take parts of my husband and I and our relationship and bring them to life at our wedding. She was able to combine our ideas and create an experience for our guests from the moment they arrived to the very last dance, and was able to bring every little detail come to life, and help connect the dots on visions that we wanted, but didnt know how to execute. She was able to bring my love for the ocean, and my partners love for the beach by designing an oyster themed seating chart and brought classy touches of the beach all throughout our wedding with table numbers and more. Not only does Nusrat have an incredible aesthetic for weddings, she has dedication to her clients, and truly wants to help them achieve the wedding that you have always envisioned. She was a great support system during all of those nervous decisions, and has a great list of reputable vendors to recommend to help ease the search process.
Nusrat also helped with planning our outfits for our engagement shoot, and even recommended a location in DC that would compliment our outfits!

Nusrat was a wonderful coordinator. We were looking to hire a day-of coordinator but with Nusrat (as with a lot of coordinators) that really ended up being month-of coordination leading up to the wedding. We wanted to be pretty involved in our wedding planning and planned most of it, so the month of coordination was perfect for our needs. Our wedding was a two day Indian wedding in Leesburg, VA. She brought an assistant for the first day and two assistants for the second day. She also handled a walkthrough for us with the venue and decorator because we live in California and could not be there ourselves.

Using a template she provided, we put together a master timeline of our entire weekend. In the last couple of weeks before the wedding, Nusrat took over as the primary point of contact with our vendors (unless we were specifically looking to handle a meeting ourselves). She advocated for us and our interests with our vendors, even if it was sometimes difficult. She used the master timeline to walk through all the wedding details with most of our vendors. Sometimes the template was a little hard to work with, because it was so large and we initially didn’t have full editing access. But it ended up working out fine.

During the actual wedding weekend, she was incredible. She was on top of everything, checking in with us, our parents, and our wedding parties as needed, and of course in touch with all our vendors. She handled so much behind the scenes and kept us right on schedule in a way that allowed us to really enjoy our wedding and be present in the moment. She was willing to help in whatever way she could, from helping the bride put on her jewelry, to helping the priest and family set up the ceremony area, to helping remember all the last details for cleanup at the end of the night.

Even during stressful moments, she remained calm and easy to work with. She helped manage an extremely difficult decorator. She was up with us until 3am the night before the wedding when our decorator cancelled on us. She remained in contact with us even after the wedding to ensure we received a refund from this decorator. She also helped us find and book a tent the day before the wedding due to forecasted rain.

We really enjoyed working with her and having her there to coordinate our big day(s). She was comfortable to be around and someone we actually wanted to catch up with in between photo shoots or events. By the end of the weekend, she was more than a vendor and truly felt a part of our family. We would definitely recommend her for month of coordination and planning.
