About

The North Glade Inn uses the surrounding land to inspire every guest that visits us. Outside, you’ll find that our property is full of rustic flourishes, like our fishing pond and the barn we host weddings in. And inside, you’ll find Amish hardwood furniture and cozy blankets waiting to welcome you in. Your innkeepers will do whatever they can to make your stay as personal as possible, including cooking you a candlelit dinner. It doesn’t matter where you’re from or where you’re going -- we're always eager to host you and yours.

North Glade Inn was a fantastic venue. We had great weather and everything was perfect. The pond behind us made for a beautiful setting. That was the first thing everyone said as they arrived was that it was so beautiful. We only had 50 guests, but you could have a lot more than that (maybe 150?) I wanted to have a wedding full weekend activities, so family and friends could really spend a lot of time together. We stayed at the B&B with our immediate family and bridal party. We arrived on Thursday with my husband's family so we could start setting up. I really wanted a venue that a lot of us could stay on site. They have 10 rooms. We had breakfast each day and it was delicious, each day they served different things and outdid themselves. We had a bbq (grooms family cooked) for a welcome party on Friday

Fred is the cook and Tammy helps you with the logistics of the wedding and reception (if you want her to). She helped me with coordinating the timeline of the day, led the rehearsal and also took charge before the ceremony to tell everyone where to go, when to start walking, etc. The food was awesome. I loved the chicken kiev.

They have a barn onsite for the reception. You are able to bring your own alcohol which really helped lower the cost. The barn is very DIY friendly and can be personalized by each bride. So this does mean some work on your part, setting up tables and linens. Tammy did all the plates and settings. Tammy has a great eye for design (if you want her help). I brought a lot of things I wanted to incorporate (framed invitation, porcelain frog bride & groom, photos of us as kids, engagement photo, etc) and Tammy found the perfect place for each thing. The barn has a dance floor and pretty lights above, so you could get away without decorating at all if you wanted. Food, tables, chairs, linens, plates, silverware is all included. You need a cake, DJ, alcohol and photographer. She also set us up with an officiant.

North Glade Inn is a bed and breakfast owned by a husband and wife. It is a beautiful place, with great food, and horrible people. On a day that is supposed to be the best day of your life you do not want to have rude, abrupt, and simply mean people to take away from that.
While setting up for the wedding, the owner would listen in on conversations and interrupt, yell, and criticize our decorations. She makes the event about her and wants things done the way she likes. She would become angry any time we covered up her decorations. Your wedding is supposed to show your personality and should be done the way you want, she does not understand that.
The owner kept coming up to me (the bride) and complaining about the decorations, how we had things set up, and the amount of time that we were taking to start the ceremony as I was waiting to walk down the aisle. The Bride should not be having someone in there face about these things two minutes before walking down the aisle. She added more stress to an already stressful event.
At the end of the night we had a sparkler send off and the husband was lighting sparklers at the entrance, the wife started screaming and became hostile that the sparklers were inside the doors and proceeded to physically grab the mother of the bride and shove her out the door making her trip. Additionally, the wife was taking the Lord’s name in vain, screaming “Jesus Christ!” at our Christian wedding, with our Pastor right there. This was extremely disrespectful. If I could do it over I would not have chosen this venue for our wedding.
