Early on, we decided that photography was one of the most important elements of our wedding day. My fiancé and I searched endlessly for someone who wasn't just operating their camera in a professional manner but someone who wanted to make impactful, timeless pieces of art, that really captured the unique moods throughout our big day.

After speaking with her and skimming through her work, we realized Nelly checked off every box for us. She is thorough, precise, kind, patient, and INCREDIBLY easy to work with. Although our wedding day was postponed to 2021 due to COVID, she was happy to work with us (AND some of our other vendors) to come up with a plan B date that worked for everyone. WOW.

In the meantime, my fiancé and I decided to do a fun couples boudoir shoot with her. For someone who is pretty self-conscious, Nelly was able to magically bring out my confidence from behind the camera. It was clear in just a couple of seconds that she has perfected her craft, has some real experience under her belt, and most importantly, loves what she does. Also, who knew a couples boudoir shoot could be so fun?!

Nelly is amazing! My fiancé and I did our engagement pictures with Nelly in Portland, Maine. She has a keen eye and takes creative shots. One picture she did she timed it so perfectly to capture a seagull flying during our shot! She also took another shot in front of a store front that had these hanging stars and it looked magical! During the pandemic and the unknown, she has been nothing but supportive and understanding. She cares about her couples and that means a lot to me. She even started the Massachusetts Coalition of Wedding Vendors to navigate these unprecedented times. I can’t wait for her to capture our Fall wedding because I know she will bring our wedding day to life and tell our beautiful Love story through her candids for a lifetime to come! Nelly is incredible! We knew our wedding photos would be amazing but they surpassed our expectations! We used her for our July 2021 wedding and were lucky to get two engagement sessions with her due to our COVID wedding postponement. We had to change our wedding from 2020 to 2021 and about 2 month prior we changed our venue. She never complained about any of the changes, she made rescheduling easy and made us feel at ease and confident with our decisions. I don’t like taking photos and I’m honestly not the most photogenic person by nature but Nelly makes you feel comfortable, beautiful, and confident! Besides being amazing at what she does she has a great personality and by the end of the process we felt like she was one of our friends and not our vendor! We highly recommend Nelly!
