We were left in a serious bind when our all inclusive venue was unexpectedly closed literally two weeks before our wedding. Our quirky wedding cake was supposed to be made by the in house pastry chef. Because he was so talented, he was snatched up quickly by another venue and was unable to make our cake. He put us in touch with Amirah, who had worked with him at our original venue before striking out on her own.
With less than a week to the wedding, Amirah seriously stepped up to the plate. She made suggestions to make our non-traditional cake even better. Our largest cake tier was chocolate cocoa puff, the middle was bananas foster (with caramel) and the top was apple cinnamon Cheerios. People are still talking about how good our cake was and I even bought a small version of the largest layer for my husband's 30th birthday.
Amirah was a joy to work with and I can't recommend her enough. Her work is amazing and delicious.
